Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A Holiday Gift, Tag, etc. Challenge!!!

Hello!

I feel like I haven't posted in a LLLOOOONNNNGGGG time.  I haven't had time to stamp lately and today was no exception!!  I am late, I'm always late, late should be my middle name!!! LOL!!!  Today's Jbelle challenge is to make a Holiday bag, box, tag, basically any type of gifty thing!  I decided to make a tag and it took me a lot longer than I expected.  Just what you need when you only have a little time to make something!! LOLOL!!!

Here is my tag~

 

The May Arts Twinkle ribbon at the top is looped so it can slide over a bottle of wine.  The base of the tag is Basic Black CS with a decorative layer of THIS Pink Paislee paper and then THIS Pink Paislee DP.  The Inkadinkado birds were stamped on Whisper White using Black Momento ink and colored using my Prismacolor Pencils as well as my Copic markers.  I stamped the bottom of the branch on another piece of Whisper White using Black Momento ink and then cut it out using THESE Spellbinders labels.  I stamped the sentiment, from THIS Verve stamp set, using Black Momento just below the branch.  I popped up the label and ran black velvet ribbon underneath and added a knot.

Crazy 4 Challenges ~ An Easel Card Challenge!!!!

Hello!

Today's challenge at C4C is to make an Easel card!  These are SO fun and SO easy, you have to try it!  Our sponsor this month is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps who so graciously is giving a prize!!!  You can check out the details, HERE, on the C4C blog!   For my card today, I used one of Kimmie's new stamps called Bernadette.

Before I show you my card, if you didn't read my post from yesterday asking for Christmas cards for a 5 year old boy who is in his last stages of cancer, please check it out HERE and if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

The cardstock I used on this card is Whisper White and Pink Pirouette.  The decorative snowflake paper is from Imaginisce and can be found HERE!  The glitter paper is by K&Co.  I cut the glitter paper with my Creative Memories wavy cutter.  I cut out Bernadette and popped her up on dimensionals.  I colored using my Copics and added white flock to the ear muffs and hand muff.  The sentiment is from Verve's new set called Christmas in the Air and was stamped directly on the DP using Basic Black ink.  I added small snowflakes that I punched from the glitter paper and pink rhinestones to the centers of each snowflake.

Believe.....

Good Morning!

I have a couple of cards to share with you today that I made using Verve's new Believe stamp set.  Don't forget that for EVERY Believe stamp set Julee sells, she will donate $10 to the Susan G Komen for the Cure fund.  What a generous thing for Julee to do!

 

The base of this card is Whisper White and is 5" square.  The next layers are first, bottom up, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black and Whisper White.  I then added black brads to each corner.  Can you BELIEVE that I actually TILTED something!?!?!?  Oh my gosh, this is definitely a first for me!!! LOL!!!  I am so ridiculous, my projects are ALWAYS straight, not crooked unless I screw up and I always tell you all that I screwed up!!! LOL!!!  The tilted panel is first Basic Black and then an old piece of polka dot paper by KI Memories.  The strip is Whisper White which was punched using my EK Success tiny scallop punch and then a piece of pink decorative paper by Bo Bunny (again, kindof old, like me!!!! LOLOL).  I stamped the sentiment directly on the DP using Basic Black ink.  The darling little flowers are by ZVA and can be found HERE!  I tied the flowers together using the black and white gingham ribbon and then adhered the flowers to the card using a glue dot.

My next card was SUPER easy!

 

The card base is Basic Black.  I added a Daisy D rub on which is an old one I have had for YEARS!!  I then added the pink Heidi Swapp rhinestones down the side and added a few randomly on the rub on.  The sentiment (from the Believe set) was stamped on Whisper White using Basic Black ink and then cut out using my Sizzlets Lots of Dies.  I added a couple of the same rhinestones, adhere it using dimensionals and then added another rub on included in the package.  See how easy that was?!?!?!

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch AND A Serendipity Ornament....

I have been busy lately!!!  I have 2 ornaments AND a card to share with you today!!!  Not that I want you all the think I am an "overachiever" but I have 2 AWESOME (ok, I think they are awesome) cards for tomorrow AND a my card for Saturday's C4C post which is a VERY cool new fold is already done!!!   You know this won't last!!! LOLOL!!!

My card today is based on Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge ~

 

The base of this card is Whisper White and is 5" square.  The next layers are first Tangerine Tango CS and then decorative paper from MME Colorful Christmas Collection.  The stripped strip below the image piece is from the same collection and was punched using my SU! scallop border punch.  Under the striped piece is Whisper White CS and on top is Celery May Arts Silk Ribbon.  The oval below the image is Razzleberry CS and was punched using my oval Nesties.  The darling snowperson image is from Serendipity Stamps and is called Snowperson with wreath and was stamped on Whisper White using Black Momento ink.  I colored using Prismacolor Pencils, Copic Markers and a blender pen & Razzleberry, Baja Breeze and Tangerine Tango ink pads.  I added white flock to the snowpersons scarf, tops of the pockets and gloves.  I added Stickles to the wreath, tiny flower rhinestones to the buttons and tiny round rhinestones to the hat.  I also added clear Martha Glitter at the base of the snowperson.  I used my Quickie glue pen to adhere all the rhinestones as well as the glitter.  On the inside I stamped the sentiment included in the set, "Happy Christmas".

Now, on to the ornaments.  I WISH I could take credit for the idea but I can't because I TOTALLY CASEd these from my Serendipity Stamps teammate, Yvonne.  She made one last month for our DT challenge and it is GORGEOUS!  She is truly an artist!!!  I won't give detailed information on these because Yvonne did a wonderful little tutorial and you can find it HERE!   

I used the same PTI Vintage Cream CS on both ornaments but obviously, used Basic Black on the one and Soft Sky on the other!  LOL!!  The black ribbon is silk and the vanilla ribbon is May Arts Satin with grosgrain edges.  I did not sponge the black ornament but did sponge the other with Ranger Antique Linen ink.  The snowflake stamps used on both are from Serendipity Stamps and can be found HERE!  The little tiny pearls are from Zva and can be found HERE.

Mojo Monday ~ Peace on Earth.....

Hello!

Here it is, Wednesday already!  Where does the time go?  LOL!!!  The card I am going to share with you today is based on Julee's Mojo Monday sketch #111.  Since it is the first challenge of the month, Julee has a contest going!!!  You could win a Verve stamp set of your choice up to a $24 value!!!  Head on over to the Mojo blog and check out all the details!

Here is my card ~

The base of this card is Whisper White with a mat of Dark Brown Bazzill CS and finally, 2 different patterns of paper from My Minds Eye, Merry Days of Christmas Collection.  The polka dot piece was punched down the side using my EK Success mini scallop punch.  I then added brown pearls from Kaiser.  The image is from Verve's O Christmas Tree set and was stamped on Whisper White CS using Always Artichoke ink.  The second tree was stamped off 1 time prior to stamping on the CS.  I then used a blender pen and Chocolate Chip ink for the first tree trunk and Close to Cocoa ink for the trunk of the second tree.  I then made a mask of the tree so I could sponge Bordering Blue ink and then Going Gray ink around the trees.  I cut the image out using my square Nesties and did my sponging prior to removing the die.  I then added Clear Martha Stewart glitter to the trees and base of trees using my Quickie glue pen.  I matted this piece on the Dark Brown Bazzill and then adhered the image in place.  The final step was to stamp the Peace on Earth sentiment, from Verve's Star of Wonder set, using Chocolate Chip ink on the image piece as well as the open DP.  I then stamped a star, from the same Star of Wonder set, on a scrap piece of Whisper White, cut it out and colored it using my Silver Copic Spica glitter pen.

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A Sketch Challenge!!!

Good Tuesday Morning!

Today's Jacksonbelle challenge is a sketch!  I LOVE sketches and if you do to and would like to play along, please use the keyword JBE078 when uploading to SCS.  Here is the sketch ~

Here is my card ~

 

As you can see, I flipped the sketch.  The base of this card is Vintage Cream CS (PTI), then a mat of a scrap of Mauve Bazzill I had laying around and finally a beautiful snowflake patterned piece from THIS My Minds Eye Collection.  The center pieces are first the same Mauve Bazzill CS on each side which I punched using my EK Success border punch and then I added a piece of Pink Pirouette and on top of that I added a piece of CS Vellum.  I added the vellum to tone down the pink.  I felt like the Pink Pirouette was to bright for the muted colors.  I then added a piece of off white May Arts ribbon.  The image is from Stampavie and was stamped on Whisper White CS using Black Momento ink.  I colored using a combination of Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils.  I added white flock on the girls hat and scarf and Stickles on the berries on her hat as well as the falling snowflakes.  I added Clear Martha Stewart glitter for the snow and Gold Spica Copic glitter on her coat.  The final step was to add a Prima flower topped with an acetate snowflake which I covered with some new Martha glitter and then on topped it off with a button from Jenni Bowlin.  I matted the image with the same Mauve CS.

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge ~ From Our House to Yours....

Happy Monday!

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday but had really good intentions to do so!!!  Yesterday was Joey's birthday, he turned 12!  I can't believe he is 12 already.  Saturday was spent at the football field ALL DAY!!!  Joey's team beat the second place team and finished their regular season undefeated!!  I was so excited as it was a tough game.  Want to see what an undefeated team looks like??

 

Joey is number 27 on the bottom right.  I am so proud of the team.  We will now have playoffs starting this weekend.  One more picture and then I'll quit and show you my card!!! LOL!!!

 

I had told Joey to NOT get his uniform dirty because Mary needed to wear it for trick or treating that night....well....that didn't happen.  He was filthy in fact I don't think I will ever get his white Under Armour shirt clean!! LOL!!  Oh wait, one more picture!  You have to see my little girl in her brothers uniform!!!  A few weeks back I was asking Mary if she could be a princess or something really girly for Halloween, oh no, she wanted to be a football player!!  My little feminine princess!! LOLOL!!! 

She looked so good and loved wearing it.  Insisted on wearing the shoulder pads, helmet, everything!  OK, I'm done now ~ sorry!!!

The following card is one I made last week based on Mercy's Tuesday sketch challenge HERE!

 

The base of this card is Whisper White with a mat of Wild Wasabi.  The next layers are first Whisper White, which I punched using one of my EK Success border punches, and then 2 different DP patterns from Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses line.  The white ribbon is from SU!  I stamped the beautiful Verve wreath that is included in the brand new O Christmas Tree set, on Whisper White using Black Momento ink.  I colored using my Copics and cut it out using my circle Nesties and matted using Riding Hood Red CS.  I stamped the bow, which is in the same set, on the red DP using Basic Black ink and then cut it out and mounted it on top of the first stamped bow.  I added some clear Memory Box rhinestones to the centers of the Poinsettia's. The sentiment, which is also included in this set, was stamped on the Wild Wasabi CS using Basic Black ink.

Luckily I have stockpiled a few cards for times like this when I have had NO time to stamp!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Crazy 4 Challenges ~ Halloween Projects!!!!

Good Morning!

Today's challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges is to make a Halloween card or project!  Well, mine WAS to be a Halloween project but it didn't turn out quite like I wanted and I would been embarrassed to post so......I don't have anything to show you!   I did not have time yesterday to make anything else BUT you can see some awesome projects HERE on the C4C blog!!!

Serendipity means good fortune.  Well, I just happen to have 2 cards to show you today using Serendipity Stamps!!  I guess if you don't like them then your good luck has just run out!! LOLOL!!!

Here is one I made for yesterday's sketch challenge at SCS ~

 

The base of this card is Always Artichoke with a mat of Basic Black.  The 3 panels are DP from Pink Paislee's Amber Road Collection.  The bottom Basic Black piece was punched using my EK Success tree border punch and then I added some May Arts Green twill ribbon.  The image is called Winter Fence Line and was stamped on Whisper White using Black Momento ink.  Before coloring, I stamped the "moon" using Going Gray ink and then colored using my Copics and finally added white Martha Stewart glitter.  I cut the image out using my rectangle Nesties and before removing the die, I sponged Soft Sky ink and Going Gray ink.  I then matted the image with first Basic Black and then Always Artichoke.

My next card was made using the Poinsetta Corner stamp.   

The base of this card is Chocolate Chip with a mat of DP from Memory Box.  The next polka dot mat is also from the Christmas Memory Box Collection (can't remember the name) and was matted using Naturals Ivory CS.  I stamped the image on Whisper White using Black Momento ink and colored using a combination of Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils.  I did stamp a second image and cut out the flowers and popped them up on top of the first stamped image.  The edges of the image were sponged with a combination of Creamy Caramel and Chocolate Chip SU! ink and Ranger Antique Linen ink.   I added yellow Stickles on the flames and then added Linen Thread to tie on the sentiment which was punched using my SU! oval punch.
