Julia Stainton has a sketch challenge this weekend that ROCKS! It is so different so I had to do it! You can find the direct link to the sketch HERE. Anyway, I started with a Basic Black 5 1/4" square card base.
The next layer is Purely Pomegranate cardstock with another mat of Basic Black and then I topped it off with a mat of the striped Pomegranate paper from the Holiday Harmony paper pack. I stamped Merry Christmas using Pomegranate ink and the stamp is from my Flourished Christmas set. The focal image is my Thomas Kinkade stamp which I bought from Cornish Heritage Farms. I stamped this image on Whisper White using Black Stazon ink. I then used a small paint brush and Elmer's glue to apply the glitter on the image. You can click on the picture to get a closer look. I cut the bow out from Pomegranate cardstock and glued it on the lamp post. I used my Creative Memories circle cutter to cut the center from the vellum cardstock. I used a little adhesive to hold the vellum down and then mounted it on top of the Basic Black cardstock. I then added Black brads to adhere all 4 sides of the image. I then used dimensionals to adhere it to the top of my card and then I was done!!!
Thanks for looking!

I LOVE the Thomas Kinkade cards you make.
The snowy scene with all of the GLITTER on it really makes the card so beautiful!
I am a HUGE glitter fan! Have you tried stickles (by Ranger - I believe)yet? It comes in all kinds of colors and the glue is right in the bottle with the glitter. I have over a dozen colors and plan to get the rest! LOL
You are always an inspiration!
