Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A Card AND A Contest!!!!

Lindsey has decided that it is time again for another Jacksonbelle Embellishments Card Contest!! Starting Tuesday, September 2nd, and every Tuesday in September, the Design Team and I will be posting a new Sketch! We'd LOVE for you to all join us!  Wanna know what you can win!?

The grand prize winner will receive a $50.00 Gift Certificate to Lindsey’s store! 2nd Place, $30.00 and 3rd place $15.00! All winners will also receive a goodie bag!! If you decide to play each week, creating a card based on all 4 sketches, your name will be entered into a random drawing and THAT person will also win a goodie bag!

SO, you are probably wondering what do you have to do!? You have to use Inkadinkado Stamps (newer...from this Spring-until now) as well as one of our sketches that I will post here each Tuesday! You can enter as many times as you'd like! You are also free to post anywhere you'd like! We will post coordinating keywords for the sketches if you are posting on Splitcoaststampers, this way we will all be able to see your card(s)! You MUST however email every card to ME!  We would really hate to miss any of your gorgeous cards and this will enable us to have them safely kept all in one place!

Following the last Tuesday challenge, (Sept. 29th), you will have until Wednesday, Sept. 30th at midnight (EST) to get your cards in to me.  After that, the Design Team and Lindsey will need a few days to decide on the winners!  Be sure to check the Design Team blogs each week for TONS of inspiration using the weekly sketch!!!  We hope you will have time to play with us and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!!!!

Now, here is my card based on this sketch ~

Remember, the sketch is just the start ~ feel FREE to let your imagination go wild!  OK, my imagination did not go wild on this card but I will let loose on the next one!!! LOL!!!!  I actually really like how this turned out and let me tell you, it was EASY!!!  The base of my card is Basic Black with a mat of Tangerine Tango and then a piece of awesome decorative paper from Cosmo Cricket's Haunted line (Lindsey is out of this right now.  If you want to order it, email her and she will let you know when it is back in stock!).  I sewed around the entire front of the card using my Janome.  The thread I used was actually white and since I wanted orange I used a sponge and Tangerine Tango ink and turned it orange!  I stamped the Inkadinkado Raven using my Versamark and heat embossed using Black embossing powder.  The image was stamped on a piece of orange paper that is also included in the Haunted Collection.  I matted the image on Basic Black cardstock.  For the final touches, I added Coal Shimmerz to the center of the raven in the circle, THIS black net, THIS black twill and then Imaginisce black glittery brads!
