I hope you aren't sick of my Verve stamps yet!!! I absolutely LOVE them and have had such a great time using them!!! Today's card is based on Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch #52. Here is my card ~
The base of this card is Kiwi Kiss and then a lower mat of Basic Black cardstock and then the upper mat is some old KI Memories black with white polka dot paper I have had for ages in which I matted using Whisper White cardstock. The ribbon across the top is first May Arts Black scallop ribbon and then I added Whisper White Taffeta. The Thanks a Bunch sentiment is from THIS Verve set called Grateful Elegance. I think this set is my most favorite!!! The flowers are also from this set.n I stamped the sentiment using Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then punched it out using my large oval punch. I matted it on a piece of Kiwi Kiss cardstock that I punched using my designer label punch after I ran it through my Cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I mounted the sentiment on the back of the label piece so the dots looked indented. I added a black eyelet to the left side and tied a knot.
The flowers from Grateful Elegance were stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Black ink and then cut out. I colored them using a blender pen and Kiwi Kiss ink pad. I just sewed a straight (yes, it is STRAIGHT!!!) line with my Janome Sew Mini and then added THESE (Petals & Stems) leaves that I stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Kiwi Kiss ink. I cut them out and adhered them on my "stems". I popped up some of the flowers with dimensionals and added some new small clear rhinestones by Martha Stewart that I got at Walmart. The butterfly is a punch by Martha Stewart which I punched a vellum butterfly and a butterfly from the same black & white polka dot paper. I glued the vellum on top of the polka dot and then added 3 clear Martha rhinestones. I used my 1/8" punch to add 3 white knots to the side of the image.

GORGEOUS Lynda! I'll never get sick of the Verve stamps...Love mine too!! I need to CASE you on this...and I mean almost exactly...lol....I struggle with black and your cards always ROCK with black!! I may need to order a pack of black first...had the same 24 sheets for 3 years...haha!
