Hello again!
I made a quick card for today's Serendipity Stamps DT challenge to make a Christmas card. This card is based on today's sketch at SCS. There are lots of new and exciting things going on at Serendipity Stamps so be sure to check them all out HERE! For my first Christmas in July card, just scroll down as this is my second post for today!
I had trouble getting a good picture of this. The base is Chocolate Chip with a mat of Whisper White, Baja Breeze and then a piece of old Melissa Frances DP on top. The ribbon is silk and is from Sharon's store. The image is from Serendipity Stamps and is called Holiday Lantern. I stamped the image on Whisper White CS using Basic Black ink and then colored using a combination of Prismacolor Pencils, blender pen & Soft Sky ink and Chocolate Chip & Close to Cocoa markers. I stamped the image a second time so I could cut out the lantern and pop it up. I added Christmas Red Stickles to the berries on the bottom of the frame, Golden Wheat Shimmerz to the light inside the lantern, clear Martha Stewart glitter to the snow drifts & snowflakes in the window and finally, I sponged Ranger, Antique Linen ink on the edges of the image piece and finished the edges off with Chocolate Chip ink. I then matted this piece on Chocolate Chip CS and then dimensionals on top of the ribbon.
Here is a closer look ~
Sorry this is so short, we are having some friends over to go swimming so I need to get with it!! Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

This is wonderful, Lynda. The 3-D effect of popping the lattern just brings it to life. Love the ribbon and your coloring is awesome!
