Serendipity means good fortune. Well, I just happen to have 2 cards to show you today using Serendipity Stamps!! I guess if you don't like them then your good luck has just run out!! LOLOL!!!
Here is one I made for yesterday's sketch challenge at SCS ~
The base of this card is Always Artichoke with a mat of Basic Black. The 3 panels are DP from Pink Paislee's Amber Road Collection. The bottom Basic Black piece was punched using my EK Success tree border punch and then I added some May Arts Green twill ribbon. The image is called Winter Fence Line and was stamped on Whisper White using Black Momento ink. Before coloring, I stamped the "moon" using Going Gray ink and then colored using my Copics and finally added white Martha Stewart glitter. I cut the image out using my rectangle Nesties and before removing the die, I sponged Soft Sky ink and Going Gray ink. I then matted the image with first Basic Black and then Always Artichoke.
My next card was made using the Poinsetta Corner stamp.
The base of this card is Chocolate Chip with a mat of DP from Memory Box. The next polka dot mat is also from the Christmas Memory Box Collection (can't remember the name) and was matted using Naturals Ivory CS. I stamped the image on Whisper White using Black Momento ink and colored using a combination of Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils. I did stamp a second image and cut out the flowers and popped them up on top of the first stamped image. The edges of the image were sponged with a combination of Creamy Caramel and Chocolate Chip SU! ink and Ranger Antique Linen ink. I added yellow Stickles on the flames and then added Linen Thread to tie on the sentiment which was punched using my SU! oval punch.

I am going to share with you today a card I made last week for Verve's new release. Not to worry....the stamps are NOW available for purchase!!! You can see LOTS of samples using these sets HERE in the Verve gallery.

The base of this card is Chocolate Chip with a mat of PTI Vintage Cream. The darling snowflake paper is from Imaginisce and can be found HERE. I added Stardust Stickles to the centers of all of the snowflakes. I stamped the sentiment, which is from Christmas in the Air set, using Chocolate Chip ink. I stamped the tree, using Chocolate Chip ink, on 2 different patterns of paper included in the same Imaginisce paper pack above and the trunks were all stamped on Celery CS using Artichoke ink. I then cut the trunks and trees out. The dotted border was stamped 2 times on the same PTI Vintage Cream CS using Chocolate Chip ink and then cut them out just above the border and layered them. I then added the trees and trunks. All of the stamps used on this card are included the Christmas in the Air stamp set.
My brother and SIL came for a visit from CA for about a week so I am trying to get back on track with my stamping!!! We had a GREAT visit and I was so sad to see them go!

If you are here for my Crazy 4 Challenges card, it will be below my Verve blog hop card below. My C4C card just happens to be using one of the new Verve sets in case you needed a little nudge as to WHICH sets to buy!!! LOL!!! So lets move on to the HOP!!!!
Welcome to the Verve BELIEVE Blog Hop. If you've just happened across my blog, and you would like to join in on the fun, you'll want to start back at the beginning HERE and hop your way along. Today we're hopping for the Cure, sharing projects from a new set Verve just released called Believe. This set was designed in honor of breast cancer awareness and Verve is donating $10 from the sale of EVERY Believe set to the Susan G Komen For the Cure Foundation. We believe that we can make a difference. We believe that each day should be celebrated, each moment cherished and that every little thing we can do in the fight to find a cure matters.
For this card, I used Pink Pirouette for the base and then added a Whisper White mat and then Old Olive mat. Before I stamped the flowers and stems, I first tore the Whisper White CS to leave about a 3/4" gap. I then stamped the beautiful stems on the Whisper White CS using Old Olive ink. I didn't stamp the flowers directly on the CS but instead stamped them on a scrap piece using Sahara Sand ink and then cut them out. I colored using a blender pen and Pink Pirouette ink pad. You can't see it in my crummy picture (I need a new light to photograph my cards, if you have any recommendations, PLEASE let me know!!! LOL!!), that I added clear Copic Spica glitter on all of the flowers and then layered them using dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped using Sahara Sand. I then mounted my white pieces on Sahara Sand CS and then punched some holes to add misc. pink ribbon. I also added the pink little butterflies.

Now, here is my card for C4C!!! Our challenge this week was to make a card with 3 geometrical shapes. What a great challenge huh?!? You know we love when you play along so go to the C4C blog for all the details!!!!
The base of this card is Basic Black and is 5 1/4" square. All of the decorative papers are from DCWV's La Creme Collection. I stamped the ornaments from Verve's Holly Jolly set directly on the off white DP using Basic Black ink and then stamped them again on other DP from the collection and cut them out. For the ornament on the left, I added black flock using my Quickie glue pen. For the small ornament, I added some of the same Memory Box rhinestones as I used for the "strings". For the top ornament, I just stamped the ornament on another DP pattern and cut it out. The hangers were stamped using Encore Silver Metallic ink. After doing the ornaments, I used a scrap piece of CS to draw the box around the ornaments using a black marker. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from from Verve's O Christmas Tree set and was stamped using Basic Black ink. This piece was then matted using Basic Black CS.

The base of this card is Whisper White and is 5" square. The next mat is first Soft Suede and then decorative paper from SU!. The next layer is first Soft Suede and another pattern from the SU! DP which I made a frame out of. I was trying to make it look like a window and outside are the clouds and hills of snow so I stamped the clouds from Verve's Up, Up and Away set using Bashful Blue in on Whisper White CS. I added some white flock to the centers of the clouds. I then added 2 snow hills which I first stamped using the stitched stamp from the O Christmas tree set, using Bashful Blue ink. I added Stardust Stickles along the stitches. The wreath was stamped on Whisper White using Black Momento ink, cut it out and then colored using a combination of my Copics and Prismacolor Pencils. The bow was stamped a second time, cut out, colored using Soft Suede ink and a blender pen and then I used a dimensional to add it to the wreath. I mounted the wreath using dimensionals.

I have been having a great time with my brother and SIL! Today we are going to the Marine Corp. Museum by Quantico and tomorrow they are going to spend the day in DC. I am going to post 2 Verve sneak peeks today because one of them was supposed to be posted yesterday!!! Be sure to check out the Verve blog for more sneak peeks!
My first sneak peek is using the new Star of Wonder set ~
The base of this card is Bordering Blue with a mat of Going Gray, Basic Black and then a decorative strip I cut using THIS Pierceabilities die. I used the same Pierceabilities die to cut the bottom of the other 2 panels as well. I stamped the beautiful sentiment direction on to the decorative strip using Basic Black ink. I sponged all edges using Going Gray ink. I also added one of the stars from the set which I stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White CS, colored with my Gold Copic Spica glitter pen and mounted using dimensionals.
The Black glitter piece is by K&Co. and was cut using my Creative Memories wavy cutter. The top panel is just Whisper White CS that I punched a 1 3/8" circle from a post it note, adhered it on the Whisper White piece where I wanted the moon and then sponged top to bottom ~ Basic Gray, Going Gray and then Bordering Blue. I added the same stars on this panel. I did spong a little Going Gray on the moon to make it look a little bit more realistic.
Here is my next sneak peek using the new Christmas in the Air set ~
The base of this card is Bashful Blue and then I added a strip of Whisper White CS that I cut using my Creative Memories Wavy cutter. I stamped the 2 trees on Artichoke CS using Chocolate Chip ink. The trunks were stamped using Chocolate Chip ink and Kraft CS. I added some White Puffy Paint and glitter on the tree and roof. The house was made using miscellaneous punched and textured using my Mosaic embossing folder. The clouds are from Verve's Up, Up and Away set which I stamped on Whisper White using Bashful Blue ink and then ran the clouds through my Xyron and then added White Flock to make them fluffy and a little glitter to make them shiny. The sentiment is actually from another NEW Verve set called O Christmas Tree. That set will be profiled tomorrow!

I have a 2 cards and some other stuff to share with you today! I decided to do just one post because my brother is coming to visit from CA and I still have lots to do before he gets here!! I am SO excited, I haven't seen him in like 3 years.
Today is the kickoff for Verve's October release!!! Oh my gosh, I know I say it EVERY time but Julee has done a fantastic job with these new stamps! You are going to LOVE them!! I have had a great time playing with them and will show you this week what I have made! You can also check out what the Diva's have done on the Verve blog HERE! While you are at the Verve blog, you will see we have 2 AMAZING guest Diva's this month ~ Betty Wright and Jessie Rone!!! One more thing before I show you my card, Julee is offering a FREE digi stamp set until the 23rd!!! It is DARLING! You can check it out HERE!
For my card today, I am giving you a sneak peek of Julee's new Breast Cancer Awareness set which she will send a portion of all proceeds from this set to the Susan G. Komen Fund. Wait until you see this set, it is beautiful!!! Here is my card ~
The base of this card is Pink Pirouette and was punched on the bottom of the front flap using my Martha Stewart Doily punch. The next step was to make another entire card using card stock vellum. I stamped the front using the largest flower included in the set using White Stazon ink. I then added some adhesive on the back of the centers of the flowers where I added the clear rhinestones to hold the 2 cards together. I then added white ribbon from SU! and some glitter Martha butterflies that I punched from some K&Co. glitter paper. The sentiment is also included in the set and was stamped on Whisper White using Basic Black ink and then I cut it out using Sizzlet Lots of Tags. The tag was then mounted using dimensionals. This was such and easy card and I REALLY like how it turned out ~ hope you do too!!!
Now, on to my Jbelle card! Today's Jacksonbelle challenge is a sketch! Here is the sketch ~
Here is my card ~
The base of this card is Old Olive with a mat of dark Brown Bazzill CS and then a mat of Whisper White and finally a decorative piece of paper from Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses Collection. The scalloped portion of the circle is Old Olive and was cut using my Circle Nesties and the inside of the circle is vellum CS which was embossed using my Swiss Dots embossing folder. I did add some Stardust Stickles on top of each dot because I just didn't have enough glitter on this card!!! LOL!!! The darling Stampavie image, bear and bird, was stamped on Whisper White using Black Momento ink and colored using my Copics. I added some new Martha glitter on the bears hat and Pink Paislee Coconut glitter for the snow. The final step was to add the May Arts White Twinkle ribbon.

I THINK I see the sun out there behind the clouds this morning but I am not sure and the weather report is not leading me to think that I will be seeing it for long IF that really is the sun!!! LOL!!
Unfortunately I am in need of a sympathy card. One of my sons teachers has lost her mother so I made this card the other day for her ~
The base of this card is Vintage Cream from PTI and then a mat of Soft Suede and then another piece of Vintage Cream which I embossed the lower portion using my Victoria Cuttlebug folder. The strip across the top is a piece of decorative paper from My Minds Eye Bella Bella Collection. I punched the top and bottom using one of my Martha Stewart punches (BTW, Lindsey has all of her Martha Stewart and Inkadinkado on sale at 40% off) and then added THESE Memory box pearls on each flower.
The beautiful sentiment is from Verve and can be found in THIS set, Forever in our Hearts. I stamped it on Vintage Cream CS using Soft Suede ink. I then cut this out using my oval Nesties and matted it on a Soft Suede oval. The flowers from Grateful Elegance were stamped on the Bella Bella paper using Soft Suede ink, cut out, added pearls and mounted on some Mellow Moss branches I punched from my Martha branch punch. The final step was to add the little Martha butterflies.

Hope you have big plans for this weekend ~ I don't!!! LOL!!! It has been raining here for DAYS and it looks like it will continue through the weekend. Oh well, I guess I could clean for a change!!! LOL!!!
Today's C4C challenge is a sketch! It is a great sketch too!!! Here is my card ~
The base of this card is Soft Suede with a mat of decorative red paper that is included in the new Christmas collection from SU! (can't remember the name). The next mat is Whisper White and another pattern from the same SU! collection. The medallion is from Spellbinders and when I went in to Cut at Home's website, I couldn't find it. I know it was on backorder but usually they keep it on the site so anyway, I used Soft Suede CS. The ribbon is Soft Sky and some white May Arts polka dot ribbon. The image is Elzybells and was stamped on Whisper White using Soft Suede ink. I pieced her coat and colored using my Prismacolor pencils and Soft Suede and Soft Sky ink pads & blender pen. I used my Red Copic Spica glitter pen for the boots and my Quickie glue pen to add Coconut glitter for the snow. I also used my Quickie glue pen to add white flock on her coat edges. I cut this out using my circle Nesties and mounted it on a piece of red decorative paper (from the SU! collection) and then Whisper White. The little note sentiment is also from Elzybells and was stamped using Soft Suede and then I added red tiny rhinestones using my Quickie glue pen.
