I had a great time on the 4th grade field trip yesterday. It rained until right before the kids got off the bus and didn't rain again!!! We got SO lucky!
I received some AMAZING, BRAND NEW stamps from Mary at Serendipity Stamps and was hoping to have a couple things to show you today but being gone all day yesterday, I only got my challenge project done. Hopefully I can put a few more things together today!!!
The DT challenge this week is to make something that you can put a note on. I had a tough time with this challenge. I decided to make myself a notebook that I can carry with me all the time and be more organized. I need something small so this little book will work out perfectly!!! I WILL BE organized darn it!!! LOLOL!!!
I used the NEW Goldfinch Cling Set and Black Momento ink. I stamped the images and sentiment on Select White CS and colored using my Copics. I looked on line to try to color the bird as it should be colored. Believe it or not, I mated with Yo-Yo Yellow CS. THANK GOODNESS I hadn't used it all up!!! LOLOL!!! This was really simple. I then added a bow using some Micheal's ribbon. Not sure if I really like the bow but as usual, I ran out of time and needed a picture so I just left it for now!!
Oh my gosh, you have GOT to check out the new stamps! They are absolutely GORGEOUS! You can find them HERE! Be sure to check out what my teammates did with this challenge ~
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
