Hello!!!!!
It has been a while! I'm sorry. We have had a lot going on around here and when my mind is elsewhere, crafting is the last thing I can focus on. I did have a great time yesterday at the Marine Corp. Museum in Quantico with my daughters 5th grade class! The kids are such great kids and the museum is fantastic. I have been there a number of times but they add new features all the time. If you are ever in the area, be sure to stop by. It is free and really easy access off I95!! Anyway, since the mojo is a NO-GO, I am going to share a couple cards with you that I made a week or so ago.
These were SO simple. The Kraft card base is 4 1/4" square and was scored 1/4" in on each side to make a square frame. The butterflies were cut from my SU! Sizzix butterfly die from Cosmo Cricket DP. The sentiment is from Serendipity Stamps and can be found HERE. I stamped the pink butterfly sentiment using Cocoa Memento ink and the music butterfly has Black Memento. Of course I just added some misc. clear rhinestones to the represent the butterflies bodies. Here are some close-ups ~
See how simple? I am going to make some more of this as I think they would make a nice set. A thank you sentiment would be perfect for Holiday thank you notes!
Have a great day!
~Lynda
