This was a difficult challenge for me and I am SURE it would be difficult for you too!!! The challenge for last Friday's limited supply challenge was to make a card using SCRAPS!!! I don't know about you but the most difficult part of this challenge for me was to decide WHICH pile of scraps to look through!!! OMG ~ I have SO many scraps and since I have gotten over my phobia of cutting in to a 12x12 piece of paper, my scrap pile has grown by leaps and bounds!!! LOL!!!
The card is a 4 1/2" square. The base of my card is Celery and then a mat of Whisper White and on top one of my most favorite decorative papers ~ Drapin' Daisies by Imaginisce and for sale at Mothers and Daughters Creations. The lower strip is first Whisper White and then the back of the Drapin' Daisies which is a checkered Celery paper. I used my cheap scalloped scissors to cut the Whisper White. I used my old SU! daisy eyelets and then added some old blue/green ribbon I had gotten from Oriental Trading a few years back. I added another eyelet just above the sentiment and just tied a knot in the ribbon, pulled it through the eyelet so the knot would fit inside the daisy and then taped the loose end on the backside of the front panel. The scalloped circle was cut from THIS coordinating Imaginisce paper using my Nestabilities. The next circle was cut also using my Nestabilities as was the top Whisper White circle. The thin Celery circle was punched using my 1 1/4" circle punch. The CUTEST Easter Pea is from Michelle's store ~ Stampers Dream and can be found right HERE. She only has 2 left so don't delay!!! Michelle also has back in stock, Sakura ~ Quickie glue pen. If you don't own one of these, you really NEED to! I use mine all the time now and actually need to get another!
I stamped my Pea by using just the corner of my Basic Black ink pad because I only wanted the Pea to be inked up! After stamping it, I colored using my Watercolor Crayons and a blender pen. I don't know if you can see it in my picture but I added White Flock to the bunny ears and feet. How did I add this you ask??? Well, I used my Quickie glue pen and they don't call it Quickie for nothing!! LOL!! I then used my Basic Black marker to ink up the sentiment and then stamped that on the checkered Celery piece. I used dimensionals to adhere the "Pea" circle and the Drapin' Daisy piece to the front of the card.
Well, that's all for now but I have lots of fun things coming up. This weekend is Tamara's ~ from Mothers and Daughters Creations ~ Birthday! She is planning to celebrate by giving YOU the opportunity to win some Blog Candy. The link for her blog is HERE!
Have a great day!

This is so cute! Good job using your scraps and over coming your 12x12 paper phobia! I have 12x12 but I like to buy the smaller ones mostly and have many of the DCWV stack packs which I love. I made my first card using the M&D penguins, check it out if you have time on my blog.
I will check in for Tamara's bday celebration!
