Today's card is based on Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge #191. The card SHOULD have been really easy but for some reason, it took me too long!!! Should you decide to make one like it, it will take you like 10 minutes but for me, it took like 2 hours!!! LOL!!! I can't blame my kids, they are in school....hmmmmm.....I think it is just me!!! LOL!!! Here is my 2 hour card ~
See, nothing major on this card. I do LOVE this new DP by Bo Bunny. I found it at our LSS a few weeks ago.
The base of my card is Basic Black with a mat of Whisper White and then the Bo Bunny DP on one side and a Celery color Bazzill piece of cardstock on the second side. The white polka dot ribbon is from Michael's and the black gingham is from SU! I punched a hole in the end of the focal piece and then ran the ribbons through, taped them on the back and then tied a knot. The top brads are Ruby Red and the bottom ones are black.
The Quartet image is from Inkadinkado . I stamped the image on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Black ink. I colored using my Prismacolor pencils and added clear glitter from my Copic glitter pen. The image was matted on first Basic Black and then red Bazzill.
Be sure to check back tomorrow for Mothers and Daughters Thursday!! My card is a TOTAL CASE but is so darn cute!!! I can't wait to share it with you!!! Have a great day!
