Happy Wednesday!
Todays card is based on a couple of challenges. The layout is based on Julee's Mojo 51 and the colors are based on yesterday's SCS color challenge which was to use monochromatic colors. The colors I chose were grey, black and white. Here is my card ~
The base of my card is Whisper White with a mat of Basic Black. The decorative paper strip down the center is some old Basic Grey from their Black Tie Collection. The square under the focal image is first Whisper White and then the same Basic Grey paper. For the focal image, I started by first stamping the scrolled background stamp from THIS Verve stamp set using Versamark ink and then heat embossing using black embossing powder on Going Gray cardstock. I cut this out and rounded the corners and then matted it on Basic Black cardstock. The BEAUTIFUL flowers are from THIS Verve set in which I stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Black ink and then coloring with a blender pen and Going Gray ink pad. I added clear rhinestones to the centers of the flowers and used dimensionals to pop up some of the flowers and others were just adhered directly on to the scrolled piece. I stamped the sentiment from THIS Verve set using Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock, punched it out using my key tag punch and then lightly sponged the edges using Going Gray ink. I punched 2 butterflies from vellum using my Martha butterfly punch. I added a scroll from THIS Prima rhinestone border collection.
The border across the top was stamped using THIS Verve stamp on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Black ink. I colored the triangles using a blender pen and Going Gray ink. I cut the bottom of the stamped image, lightly sponged using Going Gray ink and then added the same clear rhinestones. I added a strip of Basic Black cardstock and then a piece of Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon and a little knot of May Arts black & white polka dot ribbon.

OMGosh Lynda! This is over the top GORGEOUS! I love every little thing about this card. Especially the way you used the border strip as the scallop border for the sketch. So cool and classy all at the same time! Thanks for playing. :)
