Stamp Act: {Insert AWESOME Title HERE}.......

I just could not come up with an amazing title for this post today and was spending so much time thinking of one, I thought I would run out of time to get this card posted so, that is how my title came to be!!!! LOL!!!! My card today is based on 2 blog challenges! I haven't been able to Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge for MONTHS and had never tried Jen's ~ Sketch For You To Try SO, this card is for their recent challenges!!!

The warm colors are for Sharon's challenge and the layout is Jen's! The base of my card is More Mustard and then a mat of Chocolate Chip and then Poison Ivory Shimmery cardstock. The decorative strip down the side is from one of SU!'s old decorative paper packs (can't remember the name). The image is by Thomas Kinkade and can be found at Cornish Heritage Farms. I stamped the image 2 times on Poison Ivory cardstock using Chocolate Chip ink. The first image I cut about
one and a half inches off the bottom. I then used my Oval Nestabilities to cut the image out of the second image I stamped. I then matted the image cut out in an oval using Chocolate Chip cardstock. I STINK at coloring these images so I only colored the water and the sky using Prismacolor Pencils and then I added some old Perwinkle glitter to the water using a paint brush and Elmer's glue. I then added Golden Wheat Shimmerz to the sky so in real life there is some shine!!! The last step was to add More Mustard grosgrain a an aged copper belt loop. The image was mounted using dimensionals ~ for a change!!! LOL!!!!

Don't forget that tomorrow is OCC Saturday! I already finished my card and CAN'T WAIT to share it with you ~ I love how it turned out!!!! Just a LITTLE bling because you all know that I DON'T LIKE a LOT of bling!!!! LOL!!!! It may even be considered a little TOO blingy.....is that a word???? You will have to let me know!!!
