Good Morning!
Sorry about being late to post this weeks sketch and my card! My allergies were REALLY bad yesterday and I felt horrible so I didn't get my card ready to post until this morning!!! I feel much better today ~ thank goodness because I have LOTS to do!!! My card is very simple today due to the fact that when you don't feel good, the creative juices don't flow very well!!!
You can find all the Inkadinkado Contest details HERE!!! Here is the sketch and the keyword if you upload to SCS is JBE020 ~
Here is my card based on this sketch ~
The base of my card is Basic Black and then a piece of decorative crow paper from Cosmo Cricket's Haunted line (Lindsey has ordered more of this and hasn't received it yet). The bottom mat is first a tan piece of decorative paper from the same line and then the crow paper. The strip across the middle is also from the Haunted kit and is matted with Basic Black cardstock which I used my Martha Stewart bat border punch for the lower part of the mat. The image is THIS Raven Trail stamp which I stamped on the tan decorative paper using Basic Black ink. I added Sugar Plum Shimmerz to the circle around the one raven and on all the branches (sorry, it is raining here today so I couldn't get a good picture but believe me, it looks VERY pretty!) and then matted the image on Basic Black cardstock. I used my horizontal slot punch, punched a hole at the top of the image and added a piece of Eggplant grosgrain and then used natural hemp to tie the grosgrain on. I used dimensionals to adhere this to the front of the card.
Be sure to see what the girls have done with this sketch ~

Wow! I love what you did with this image - so different from mine! I love that about stamps and paper - you can go from one extreme to the other - this one looks so rich and dark but still spooky!
