SCS ~ Featured Stamper Sunday ~ Lazylizard.......

Oh my gosh, Joey's football game was AWESOME!!!  The boys did so well.  I was so proud of ALL of them!!!  They did win, 43-0!!!  Here is a picture of Joey scoring one of the touchdowns ~

 

OK, sorry for the diversion!!!   Now, on to my card!!!  Today's card is based on SCS's featured stamper ~ Liz AKA:  Lazy Lizard!  You can visit her wonderful gallery HERE!  The card of hers I decided to CASE is HERE!  I followed her layout although I didn't add the circle to the bottom right of the image because I just COULD NOT find anything to put there that I liked so I just left it off.  Here is my card ~

The base of my card is Whisper White cardstock with a mat of Basic Black and then a piece of Bo Bunny DP that I picked up at my LSS.  The photo corners are Real Red cardstock and I added black dots with a black marker and added black brads.  The strip across the middle is first Whisper White and then Basic Black that I ran through my Cuttlebug using my Birds & Swirls embossing folder.  I added ribbon that I got at Michael's.   The image is Inkadinkado's Duet stamp that I stamped using Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock (Lindsey is getting more of this stamp any day now so if you are interested in one, email her).  I colored the red bird and vine using Prismacolor pencils.  I colored the little bird using a paint brush and my Golden Wheat Shimmerz.  I painted the buttercup flowers with the Golden Wheat Shimmerz as well and then added black brads to adhere them to the card.  I added the Golden Wheat Shimmerz on top of the red bird as well because it is VERY important that your birds are glittery!!! LOL!!!  I mounted this image on top of Basic Black and then Real Red cardstock.
