Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ Give Thanks!!!!

Finally, I was able to complete a card!!! Sorry I haven't been posting much lately... I have had lots to get done and hopefully, things will slow down soon! I have a special treat I am working on for you all as well but you'll have to wait on that!!! LOL!!!

Here is my card for today's Jacksonbelle Tuesday challenge! The challenge was to give thanks and with that in mind, make a card with a Thanksgiving theme, Fall colors OR just a Thank You card!!! If you would like to play along, upload your creation on SCS using the keyword JBE026!

I chose to make a card using Fall colors which actually are today's SCS color challenge ~ Tangerine, Old Olive and Pixie Pink. OK, OK, so Pixie Pink is so Fallish.... pretend that before a leaf turns red, it turns PIXIE PINK!!!! Work with me here!!! LOL!!!! The layout of this card is based on CPS's sketch challenge #88.

The base of my card is Chocolate Chip with a mat of Old Olive first and then another piece of Chocolate Chip and then a piece of Chocolate Chip Designer Series paper. The centers of the flowers were colored with a blender pen and Pixie Pink, Old Olive and Tangerine Tango ink pads. I added Old Olive wide grosgrain across the center and then added a piece of May Arts Chocolate & White ribbon.
The focal images are from Basic Grey. The butterfly and trail are from the Bitsy Butterfly set and the flower and leaf are from the Bitsy Lotus set. I stamped the butterfly and trail on Whisper White cardstock using Chocolate Chip ink. I stamped the wing part again on Whisper White and cut it out. I colored the hearts and stems using Bubblegum Shimmerz (hearts) and Green Olive Shimmerz (stems) using a paint brush. I then adhered the cut out wings on top of the first stamped image but only at the base so the top of the wings are lifted. I used a paint brush and Coffee Shimmerz to add shine to the body of the butterfly as well as the trail. I then added some MAMBI Poppy rhinestones to the trail. I stamped the flower 2 times on Whisper White using Tangerine ink. I cut out one smaller than the other and mounted the small one on top of the larger one using a dimensional. I first added Pumpkin Shimmerz to the image to give it a little color and lots of shine!!!! Before I adhered the flower, I first stamped the leaf using Old Olive ink and then painted it using the Green Olive Shimmerz. I adhered the flower using a dimensional and then added a tangerine button, found HERE, to the center of the flower after I tied a little bright pink string on.

The image was then matted with first Pixie Pink cardstock and then Chocolate Chip which I cut a scalloped rectangle using my Nesties. Below the ribbon, I added a rectangle of Tangerine cardstock which peeks out below the scalloped rectangle on top. The final step was to add the metal photo corners that are included in THIS We R Memory Keepers hardware set. I added the same Poppy rhinestones and then adhered them using glue dots.

There you go!!! Now, check out what the girls did with this challenge ~
