Stamp Act: SCS ~ Featured Stamper Sunday ~ Anne Ryan.......

Happy Sunday to you all! We are having another beautiful day here!! I really want to get outside but before I go, I want to share with you the card I made for today's SCS Featured Stamper ~ Anne Ryan! Anne is so quick to leave a nice comment on a card and is SUCH a talented stamper! The card of Anne's that I chose to CASE is HERE! I changed everything except the layout ~

The base of my card is Old Olive. I embossed the edge using polka dot strip from THIS Cuttlebug embossing folder collection. The next mat is first Shimmery White cardstock then Pretty in Pink cardstock and then on top THIS beautiful glittery decorative paper from Imaginisce's new Fairest of them All Collection. I used my ticket corner punch on 3 of the corner and then added the baby blue glittery brads from THIS Imaginisce collection WHICH by the way, coordinate PERFECTLY with the paper!!! The strip down the side is from THIS pattern of the same Fairest of them All papers. I did not mat it, just cut it so it left a little off white border. I mounted this strip on top of the bottom mat using dimensionals on each end and then just plain adhesive in the center of the strip. The focal image is by Prima and can be found HERE! I stamped the bird on Shimmery White cardstock using Basic Black ink. I then colored using my Prismacolor pencils. I stamped the bird a second time on the crisscross pattern and then cut it out and mounted it on top of the first stamped bird using dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped using Old Olive ink. That would be a YES, I DID add Angel Wings Shimmerz to the entire bird and tail!!! This piece was matted on Pretty in Pink cardstock and then mounted using dimensionals.

The last step was to paint my Prima flowers! I used THESE flowers and painted them ALL with Bubblegum Shimmerz. The very top flower which is right under the blue glitter brad is a flower I cut out from THIS paper. The flower under the paper one I cut out was complete painted with the Shimmerz and then the lower 2 flowers are just highlighted with the pink. It REALLY looks pretty IRL!
