Good Morning!
Today's Jacksonbelle Challenge is a sketch! I love sketches! Before I go on, I want to remind you that today is the last day of Lindsey's storewide clearance sale! She is giving 30% off everything in the store. At checkout, enter code Feb30 at checkout to receive your discount!
OK, now on to the challenge! Here is the sketch we were to use ~
Here is my card ~
The base of my card is Soft Sky card stock which is 4 1/4 square. The next mat is Chocolate Chip card stock and then 2" squares of THIS October Afternoon paper (this is two-sided paper and I used the front and back). I then pierced around each square, added SU! Chocolate Chip double stitched ribbon, added a We R Memory Keepers pewter buckle and a little knot of Kiwi ribbon. The cute little floral shop image is from THIS Lizzie Anne set called Welcome Home and was stamped on Shimmery White card stock using Chocolate Chip ink. I colored the image using a combination of my Prismacolor Pencils and a blender pen & Baja Breeze, Soft Sky, Old Olive and Pumpkin ink pads. I also added Butter Cream Shimmerz to the windows so it would look like a light was on inside! I cut the image out using my square Nesties and matted on Chocolate Chip card stock and then a scalloped square of Baja Breeze card stock.
I made a card using this Lizzie Anne set a few weeks ago for a color challenge but hadn't loaded it yet so I will show it to you now ~
The color challenge was to use Garden Green, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point. The base of this card is Basic Black and then a mat of Garden Green, Whisper White and then Baja Breeze which the bottom border was cut using THIS Pierceabilities die. The next mat is decorative paper from the Ski Slope collection and was also cut using the Pierceabilities die. The yellow ribbon is from May Arts. The image is from Lizzie Anne's Welcome Home set and was stamped on Whisper White using Basic Black ink. I stamped the tree another time on Whisper White and cut the top out, colored it using Prismacolor Pencils and then mounted it on top of the first tree using dimensionals. I colored the rest of the image using a combination of Prismacolor Pencils and a blender pen & Pacific Point, Garden Green and Baja Breeze ink pads. I added Butter Cream Shimmerz to the windows of this image as well and Opal Shimmerz to the cloud above the house.
If you would like to play along, please include the keyword JBE039 when you upload to SCS so we can all see what you made! Need some inspiration, check out the girls creations ~
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
