Hi!
Chris took the kids to school today so I have been very busy getting things done ~ including today's sketch card!!!
I had not had a chance to use this darling stamp by Penny Black called Funny Eggs. I got it from Addicted to Rubber Stamps a few months back. I wanted to add the sentiment ~ How'd you do that? but I couldn't get it to look right so, as you can see, I left it off! Yes, the wide open white space above the girls irritates me!!! LOL!!! My chickens don't lay eggs that look like that! Anyway, the base of this card is Celery with a mat of Real Red, Whisper White and then pink Bazzill. The ribbon is by May Arts and the silver flower buckle is from We R Memory Keepers.
The next layer is first Whisper White and then a piece of decorative paper by Imaginisce called Twitterpated. The image was stamped on Whisper White card stock using Basic Black ink. I colored using a combination of Prismacolor Pencils and a blender pen & Celery, Real Red, Summer Sun and Pretty in Pink ink pads. I cut the image out using my rectangle Nesties and then matted the image using Real Red card stock. The last thing I did was add Crystal Stickles to the centers of the flowers on the DP and on the eggs.
I loved this sketch and hopefully I will have a chance to make another card later! Have a great day!
