Hello!
I have a couple of cards to share with you today! One is for Julee's Verve Release (which is tonight!) sketch challenge and the other is for today's featured stamper ~ Judy AKA: StampingQueenJAR!
My first card is for Julee's sketch ~
The base of this card is Basic Black and is 5 1/4" square. I had to use a larger square because the image, cut with the oval Nesties, was too big for a standard card. I totally STOLE the tree branch idea from Denise. She made the cutest card using a swing and kindof like a shadow box effect but mine is different in the sense that my image is popped up on dimensionals.
I stamped the branch (inked it up using Chocolate Chip ink, used a Q-tip to remove the ink from the leaves and then took my Old Olive marker and inked up the leaves) from the Delicate Branch set from Inkadinkado (Lindsey is sold out of this one but you can email her, jacksonbelle@hotmail.com and she will order it!) on Whisper White. I stamped the branch again on Whisper White with only the leaves inked up with the Olive marker and cut out a few of the leaves to pop them up. I then ran the White back ground through my Cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder.
The DARLING Swinging Chicken by Whipper Snapper was stamped on Whisper White using Basic Black ink. I cut the image out using my oval Nesties and then made a frame using the scalloped oval Nesties. I colored the image using my Prismacolor pencils.
The lower black and white checked paper is by Reminisce and was punched using my scalloped border punch. I added a small red strip of card stock before adhering it on the Basic Black card. I added some red and white polka dot ribbon by May Arts and then 2 SU! silver flowers which I adhered using green crystal circle brads.
OK, now on to my next card! I made this card for today's featured stamper ~ Judy! She has some beautiful cards to CASE! The card I decided to CASE is HERE! Here is my card ~
The base of this card is also Basic Black and then a mat of Pumpkin and then Whisper White card stock. I used my MS border punch for the bottom border. I then added red MAMBI rhinestones to the centers of the little flowers on the border. The Happy Spring sentiment, which was stamped using Basic Black ink, is from THIS Stamps and Smiles set. The flower DP is some old paper I have had and is by Imaginisce.
The darling Sweet Sniffs of Spring stamp from Whipper Snapper was stamped on Whisper White card stock using Basic Black ink and then colored using my Prismacolor Pencils. I added Marigold Shimmerz to the flower and a little orange rhinestone to the center. I then matted the image with Basic Black card stock, ran the polka dot May Arts ribbon behind it and added the 2 Prima flowers with the cute little paw print brad which I have had for YEARS!!!
I now need to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather!! Hope you are having a great weekend!

I love both your cards, but that chicken and branch card just melt my heart. I'm having some serious chicken card envy! Sigh.

These are both such GREAT stamps!! Love both of them. The way you stamped that branch off the oval and onto the back panel is pure genious. Looks GREAT!
