Hello!
Hope you all are doing well! We had a heck of a snowstorm here yesterday. Needless to say, my kids were pretty excited about it and actually, I have enjoyed it too! We got about 7" (that is a lot for Virginia) and it is the light fluffy kind of snow which is really fun to play in. The bummer about it is that the wind has been bad so it is so cold, you really can't stay out for long. Here is a picture that I took Sunday night, just after it had started snowing ~
I went out on our top deck and got this picture. These deer (there were 4 or 5 more coming out of the woods behind these guys) come every night looking for food! I give them corn this time of year because there isn't much food for them especially when it snows. Aren't they cute??? I have to share one more cute picture and then I'll show you my Jbelle card for today's Prima challenge!
This is my FAVORITE son Casper (don't tell Joey) and Mary!! LOL!!! OK, enough personal stuff! Here is my Jbelle card for today ~
This was a SUPER easy card! The base of my card is Basic Black and then a mat of Pink Passion (YES, this is an SU! color!!! LOL!!!) and then Whisper White. The next layers are first Basic Black and then THIS cool Prima DP. I cut the paper so the decoration would be left to hang down below the image. I stamped the Inkadinkado Duet birds on Whisper White card stock using Basic Black ink, cut the image out using my oval Nesties and then matted it with a Basic Black oval. I stamped the birds a second time on Whisper White, cut them out and colored using my Prismacolor Pencils. I then added Pixie Dust Blingz Shimmerz to the birds bodies and the flowers, added a couple small pink rhinestones and then ran some May Arts black and white polka dot ribbon through the left side (I punched a hole), taped the ends to the back of the top piece and then tied a knot with the same ribbon. I then mounted this on the decorative paper using dimensionals.
There you go! See how easy that was!?!?! Be sure to check out what my teammates have made and if you want to play along, upload your card on SCS using the keyword JBE042 ~
Thank you so much for stopping by and I will be back later with more cards! I have a bunch that I have made but with my computer issues, it was taking too long to post so I figured I'd wait!

Beautiful card...gorgeous pictures...and I can honestly say that I'm glad the snow was at your house and not mine! I love snow...but only if I don't have to go anywhere...it scares me to drive.
