Hello!
Hope you are having a great day!! I had a few minutes this morning and was able to work on a card for today's Mojo Monday sketch! Here is my card ~
First off, let me apologize for using pink and brown AGAIN but I really wanted to use this SEI butterfly paper and unfortunately, it only comes in pink and brown!!! LOL!! I promise that tomorrow's card will be different colors!!! The base of this card is Pink Pirouette with a mat of Chocolate Chip and then Whisper White card stock. I punched a separate piece of Whisper White card stock with my MS Scalloped Lace border punch and adhered it to the back of the decorative paper. I then matted these with Chocolate Chip card stock. The flower pot, from THIS Miracles Blossom Set, was stamped on a scrap piece of Pink Pirouette card stock using Chocolate Chip ink and was then cut out. I stamped it again on Chocolate Chip card stock and cut out just the top of the flower pot and then glued it on the first stamped pot using my Quickie glue pen. I stamped the stems from THIS Floral Symphonystamp set directly on the Whisper White rectangle piece using Always Artichoke ink. I stamped the flowers from the same Miracles Blossom set using Chocolate Chip ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and then cut them out, colored them using a blender pen & Pink Pirouette ink pad, added Opal Shimmerz and then mounted them using pop dots. I added some Kaiser Craft rhinestones to the centers of the flowers as well, matted the image piece with first Chocolate Chip card stock and then Pink Pirouette.
I then ran the Chocolate Chip grosgrain under the flower pot, tied a little knot to the side and then add the same Kaiser rhinestones to each scallop. For the MS butterfly, I punched one from vellum card stock and another from Chocolate Chip card stock, glued them together and added the rhinestones again. The final step was to stamp the sentiment, which is from Verve's Circular Sayings set, using Chocolate Chip ink.
Well, I have to take Joe to football practice so I better get moving! Thanks for stopping by and I'll "see" you back here tomorrow!
