Hi Again!
Anna Wight had shown THIS NEW Whipper Snapper image some time ago and at that time, I KNEW I had to have it because it looks just like my husband except he doesn't have shiny, embossed edges!!! LOL!!! Well, it came the other day and was PERFECT to use for today's Ways to Use it challenge which is to make a ATC! I have never made one of these but with this image it was really easy. I did mount it on a card, which I will show you, because I don't know what I would do with an ATC!! Here is the ATC ~
I stamped the image on Kraft card stock using my Versamark and heat embossing with Black detail embossing powder. I then sponged first Creamy Caramel then Chocolate Chip and finally a little Basic Black around the distressed edges. I lightly colored the shirt using Ruby Red ink and a blender pen, the jeans using Night of Navy and the boots and hat with Chocolate Chip ink. I matted this on Basic Black card stock which I distressed the edges as well. I then sponged the natural hemp with Creamy Caramel and Chocolate Chip ink, tied a knot and then added the Karen Foster pewter boot using linen thread. OK, are you prepared to be SHOCKED!?!?!? I actually TILTED the image on the front of the card!!!!! Oh YES I DID!!!! I was shocked as well but it looks great that way!!! LOL!!!
Want to see it?? Here it is ~
I had some old western paper by Flair that I used to mat the ATC. I distressed those edges and sponged just as I did on the ATC with Caramel, Chocolate Chip and Black. I then mounted it all on a Basic Black card base which I distressed as well. Super easy card! I got more Whipper Snapper stamps that I will be showing you in the days to come!!! Have a great day!
