Hi!
Happy Father's Day!!! LOL!!! There probably aren't TOO many Father's that read my blog but if there is, hope your day is happy! For Father's Day, I let my husband mow the rental house lawn as well as our pastures!!! LOL!!! There are LOTS more things I will let him do on his day because I want his day to be the HAPPIEST ever!!! LOLOLOL!!!
My card today is based on THIS card from today's featured stamper, Christy S!!
The base of this card is Riding Hood Red with a mat of polka dot specialty paper which is from the Sweet Slumber Collection. The next mat is first Whisper White and then a piece of Bazzill light brown CS. The ribbon is from the winter mini and is Riding Hood Red. The image, which is from Serendipity Stamps and is called Vases, was stamped 2 times using Sahara Sand ink ~ first on Sahara Sand CS and then again on Whisper White. I cut the Whisper White vases out and colored using my Prismacolor Pencils. I added clear micro beads to the center of the flower and clear Copic Spica glitter to the stems and highlighted in other areas on the vases. The vases were adhered on top of the first image using dimensionals and then I sponged Sahara Sand ink around the edges and matted on Chocolate Chip CS.
Here is a closer look at the vases ~
I'll be back in the morning with a REALLY cute baby card! Have a happy Sunday!
