Good Morning!
I will be back a little later with my Jacksonbelle challenge card. We are having another sketch and in case you would like to get started right away, hop on over to the Jbelle blog and get all the details!
Now, on to today's FIRST Serendipity Stamps DT challenge!!! We were tasked to make a card using a Garden Theme! The ONLY "problem" with this challenge was to figure out which BEAUTIFUL Garden Themed stamp I should use!!! LOL!!! I settled on my Pansy Corner stamp ~
The base of this card is Pink Pirouette CS with a mat of Basic Black and then a piece of polka dot decorative paper from Basic Grey's Porcelain Collection which I punched the bottom of using my Martha Stewart Lattice punch. The second decorative strip is also from the Porcelain Collection and was matted using Basic Black CS. I added a piece of Black May Arts satin ribbon on top of the strip and tied a knot on the main image panel. The Pansy image was stamped on Whisper White using Basic Black ink. I used the "out of the box" technique on the bottom on right side of the image. I stamped the image again on a pink washed out piece of DP from Porcelain and then cut just the flowers out. These were then adhered on top of the first stamped flowers using dimensionals. The leaves were colored using Prismacolor Pencils and the butterflies were added with black rhinstones to the centers.
Be sure to check out the beautiful creations my teammates have made using their Serendipity Stamps!
Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget, tomorrow is the final day to get your Jbelle DT submissions in. You can read all about it HERE!
Have a great day!
