Good Morning!
At SCS they are doing lots of fun challenges for their fan club members. One challenge from yesterday was to use anything clear on your card. I chose to make a shaker box using a transparency. You can find all of the challenges they have posted so far HERE.
Here is my card ~
The Serendipity Stamps set I used on this card is called Winter Doe. I want to mention too that the deadline for Serendipity's Reader Challenge has been extended so you still have time to play along! You can read all about it HERE!
The base of this card is Basic Black with a mat of Whisper White and then 2 patterns of DP from Basic Grey's Dasher??? line. The tree line was punched from my EK Success border punch and then I added Martha Stewart glitter on top of the trees to tie in with the trees in the image. The ribbon is just an old scrap I had. I made the shaker box by punching the frame using rectangle Nesties and then added a piece of Transparency on the back side of the decorative frame. I then stamped the image using Basic Black ink on Whisper White CS and then used my Quickie glue pen to add clear Martha Stewart glitter on all the snow covered parts of the image. I then added EK Success foam dimensional strips on the back of the decorative frame & transparency, poured in some of the same Martha glitter, peeled off the backs of the dimensionals, lined up the image (facing down) and adhered it. I used dimensionals to adhere this image to the front.
Thanks for stopping by!!!
