This is my second post for today so scroll down for my Verve Project Parade ~ Divine Details post or click HERE!!!
I saw the sketch challenge at SCS for today and immediately thought to use the same theme, papers, etc. as I did for my project parade post. Here is a quick card I made based on the sketch ~
This was so easy because I already had the supplies out and had a butterfly left over from the ones I cut out for my project!
The base of the card is Basic Black with a mat of Graphic 45 Botanicabella DP. The strip across the bottom is Basic Black which was punched using my EK Success Fleur de lis punch and then a strip of another pattern of the Botanicabella paper. The orange rhinestones are from MAMBI. The flourished circles are from Verve's Artful Elegance set and were stamped on the same pattern as the card base paper using Versamark and embossed with Black embossing powder. I punched them out using my 1 3/8" circle punch and then matted them on Basic Black CS that I cut using a little larger circle Nestie. The Fleur de lis from the Kindred Spirits set was stamped on a vintage white piece of paper from Cosmo Cricket using Versamark and embossed with Black embossing powder. I cut them out and mounted them using dimensionals.
See how simple!?!?! Ok, I need to rush out to take my kids shopping for clothes. Have a great day!
