Crazy 4 Challenges ~Happy Birthday to You.....

Good Morning!

Did you make it to the Verve party last night?  I did not dang it!  I took my son to football practice and then when I came home my love of my life cat Waldo was still missing.  He had been gone all day yesterday which I had been looking for him.  It isn't like him to be gone all day.  When I got home I went out and was calling him and calling him.  Finally, I heard a meow out in the woods around 10:00 so I ran in the house and got my son and husband so we traipsed out in the woods and finally found him!  Thank goodness when I called him, he meowed.  He is very furry so somehow his tail was caught between branches.  Oh my gosh, thank goodness my daughter was with a friend because she would have been freaking out!  Now after my long story, if you missed the party like I did, you will be happy to know that you can now order the new AWESOME sets!!!  You can see them all in one place HERE!!!

Now, on to the Crazy challenge for this week!!!  The challenge is to go to the Crazy blog HERE and choose one of the crazy girls cards and CASE it!  You can CASE the entire card, the layout, colors whatever!!!  Be sure to link your card up on Mr. Linky on the Crazy blog!

Here is my card ~

The layout of this card is from this months sketch at Emma's Paperie!  The base of the card is Sweet Blush with a mat of Dark Chocolate.  Oh my gosh, do you not LOVE the DP?!?!?  It is by Jillibean Soup and can be found HERE in Emma's Paperie store.  The right Kraft side is the back of the darling bird paper.  I punched the edge with my EK Success border punch and added a strip of Sweet Blush CS.  The birdhouse image is from PTI's Bird Watching set and can be found HERE.  I stamped it on the back of the bird paper using Cocoa Momento ink.  I colored using my Copics, masked the birdhouses and stamped the birdie trail, stamped the bird on the same Kraft CS, cut it out and added clear Copic Spica glitter and finally stamped the sentiment.  The image was then matted on Dark Chocolate and matted with Sweet Blush which was punched using another EK Success border punch.  The final step was to add the pink rhinestones and mount it on the top of the card using dimensionals.
