Good Morning!
I have a couple of cards to share with you! Today is the kickoff of the Verve Sneak Peeks! If you would like to see more, please visit the Verve blog! There will be sneaks all week and then the release party Friday night! All the contest details can be found HERE!
Before I go on, today's Jbelle challenge is for the girls to use their favorite Jbelle product! That's easy!! LOL!!! Oh and Lindsey has put the BRAND NEW Basic Grey papers on pre-order as she is due to receive them the end of this week! You can check it out HERE!
Both cards today are using the BRAND NEW Verve stamps! Here is my first card which is for the Verve Sneak Peek (my next card is for the Jbelle challenge)~
The base of this card is Select White CS and is 5 1/4" square. The next layer is Pumpkin Pie and then True Black CS. The "sand" paper is some I had in my stash and was torn, layered and sponged using Ranger Frayed Burlap ink. The black ribbon along the bottom is from Pink Paislee and can be found HERE. I added some linen thread on top. The stamp set I used on this card is called Relax and will be available for sale Friday night. There are 19 stamps included in the set and I only used 3 of them on this card!!! It is AWESOME!!!
The decorative paper on the top is called Summer Soiree by Fancy Pants and was cut using my oval Nesties. To make the sunset, I used glossy white CS and on the top sponged Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun and Barely Banana. For the water, I sponged Bashful Blue, Soft Sky, Night of Navy and Not Quite Navy. I added THIS clear Ranger crackle paint on the water to try to make it look more realistic. Here's a closer look ~
Pretend that you can't see where I accidentally added crackle paint to the sunset!!! LOL!!! I stamped the palm trees and sun on Select White CS and then colored using my copics. I added some brown flock to the coconuts and yellow Stickles to the sun. These pieces were adhered using dimensionals. The crystal frame is from Prima. I think that's about it!!! LOL!!! This actually was really easy to put together and I LOVE how it turned out!
Now, on to my Jbelle card! We were to use our favorite Jbelle product(s). Of course I LOVE all of Lindsey's products but I must say, the new paper packs from Pink Paislee are definitely my favorites right now!! You need to have an open mind when looking at this card!! LOL!!! You will understand when I tell you what I used to make the flower ~
The base of this card is Kraft and is 5" square. The next mat is True Black and then a piece of patterned paper from Pink Paislee's Queen Bee collection. I pierced around the mat, added clear Zva rhinestones, a Martha Stewart butterfly and I added the BEAUTIFUL Verve sentiment which is included in another new set called One Person. Now, the flower petals were stamped on another pattern which is also included in the Queen Bee collection using a SURF BOARD image that is included in the above Relax stamp set. I stamped them using Black Momento ink, cut them out and then layered them. The button is from Making Memories vintage findings and was adhered using a pop up glue dot.
Be sure to check out the Rockstars creations using their favorite product!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
