Good Morning!
My mailman blessed me with some BRAND NEW Verve stamps yesterday!! Oh my word, and I know I say this every Verve release, but this month's release is downright AMAZING!!! There are so many sets being released that there will be 2 releases this month. Are you dying to see them??? Well, you will just have to wait untilFriday, October 8th!! LOL!!! To celebrate the upcoming release, I made a card using one of the sets from last month's release.
The base of this card is Early Espresso and is 4 1/4" square. The next mat is Blushing Bride and then Select White. The image piece started out as select white. I first stamped the flowers from Kind Words using Snow White ink and embossed using clear embossing powder. I then sponged Ranger Antique Linen ink randomly over the entire piece. Because the flowers were embossed, I simply wiped off the ink from the flowers. I then stamped the flourish using my Versamark (I masked the flowers so I wouldn't get the flourish on the flowers) and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I then sponged Ranger Frayed Burlap randomly over the entire piece. The sentiment is also from the Kind Words set and was stamped using Early Espresso ink. The final steps were to add the clear SU! heart button, Martha Stewart bakers string, 2 clear rhinestones and the tiny Martha Stewart butterflies. The image piece actually looks more like leather in real life.
That's all for me today! I have lots of cleaning to do and then I want to play with my NEW Verve Stamps!!!!!!
Have a great day!

Great card, Lynda! The flourish does definitely look like tooled leather. TFS
