I am SO excited to share the paper rose information with you! You HAVE to try making these flowers! They are so pretty, easy and addicting!! Anyway, here is my card ~
The base of this card is Kraft with a mat of Dark Chocolate and then Select White on top and Aqua Mist, all from PTI, on the bottom. The Aqua Mist piece was punched using my EK Success wavy punch and the Select White CS was embossed using my swirls embossing folder. The "snow" center paper is from Jillibean Soup and can be found HERE. I matted the snow circle with a Dark Chocolate Lacey Circle. The darling MFT image, called Merry Kissmas, was stamped on Select White using Black Memento ink. I colored using my Copics, except for the Kraft looking color. That was colored using a blender pen and Antique Linen ink from Ranger. The snowman's buttons are actually clear Zva rhinestones that I colored using my black Copic marker. Their hat bands, tassles, her gloves and tights were all covered with Sparkly Fluff using my Quickie glue pen. I then adhered them on the card using dimensionals, added the Zva rhinestone flourishes at the top and then my Kraft flower.
The Artichoke leaves were punched using my new bird & branch SU! punch. I now am looking at the mistletoe and I'm thinking I should have colored the rhinestones green!!! LOLOL!!! Dang, I ruined the whole card!!!! LOLOLOLOL!!! So, I colored the CRANBERRIES that are hanging up there looking like mistletoe, using my dark red Copic marker!!! I paper pieced the leaves and added a little bow at the top using Martha Stewart Bakers Twine.
Here is a closer look ~
Now, here is my flower and a Kraft flower from Prima ~
Here is a YouTube video that shows you how to make these. It is not the one I watched the other day and I couldn't find it but THIS one is great and is basically the same. I do not have Grungeboard nor do I have the Sizzix flower die she is using but I DO have the Beautiful Blooms II dies from PTI AND I have lots of cardstock so I used the Mod Podge and CS technique!!!
I used the smallest die, cut 4 flowers from Kraft CS, wrinkled the flowers up, flattened them back out and then painted them with Mod Podge. I then cut them as it shows in the video although I added 2 5 leaf layers because I liked it looking more full. It looked bare with just one layer on the bottom. I added Clear Course Martha Stewart glitter on some of the petals using my Quickie glue pen.
Here are a couple pictures of my flowers from yesterday that I used Sweet Blush CS, did not scrunch them or sponge them. This flower was made using the largest die from the Beautiful Blooms II set ~
This flower was made using the small die ~
I need to work on rolling the leaves a bit better. Thanks so much for stopping by and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

These flowers are beautiful, you did a great job! I like your red mistletoe berries on your Christmas card, it brings a pop of color (even though they are really whitish).

I had to go watch that video! What gorgeous flowers. That die is never in stock...it sells out as soon as we get it in, and now I know why! Beautiful card, love the flourishes and I love the red mistletoe...I would have coloured it the same way!
