Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I have a couple things to share with you today! I figured I better show both today since starting Monday the Brand NEW Verve Winter sneak peeks will start! This is a HUGE release with lots of beautiful stamps and surprises! All the details will be on the Verve blog tomorrow morning!!!
My card is for Impression Obsessions November 4th challenge which is to make a Holiday card. The stamp I used just cracks me up! It is so me and my sense of humor! LOLOL!!! The image is called Season's Greetings Outhouse ~
I don't know that this is supposed to be a "beach" house but that was what I saw so I colored it with my Prismacolor Pencils and Copic Spica glitter pens to reflect the kind of beach house I could afford!!! LOL!!
The base of this card is Kraft with a mat of Pumpkin Pie which I punched using my Fiskar's Apron punch. I stamped the image on Select White CS using Black Memento ink. I then added the Natural Burlap string at the top and tied on a little silver heart charm. I added the little charm so the recipient of this card will know that I LOVE my beach house!! LOLOL!!!
Here is a closer look ~
So now I want to show you a little purse I made for a friend who asked if I would donate some cards for a Breast Cancer Fundraiser. I wanted something cute to hold the cards and of course with pink in it so this is what I made ~
The actual purse was made from a full piece of 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of True Black CS. I then scored on the 11" side at 4 1/2" and 6 1/2". Along the 8 1/2" side I scored at 1 1/4" on each side. I used sticky strip to hold the purse together. The handles are PTI True Black polka dot ribbon and are being held in place by black brads. The DP panels are, I think, from My Little Yellow Bicycle and then I added Select White decorative edges that I punched using my SU! border punch. The flower was made using my PTI Beautiful Blooms II dies and a combination of Select White and the DP. I topped it off with a black button and a black hemp bow.
Here is a closer look at the rhinestones and front panel ~
Well, that will do it for me today! I have a few more Verve sneak peek cards to make so I better get busy!
Have a great day!
