Hello!
My post is late today. I just got my card for today's challenge finished! You know, I ONLY had 3 weeks to get this done!! LOLOLOL!!! Anyway, our Serendipity Stamps challenge today was to use a stamp or stamps that represent another hobby we may have or a family member. We were also to use this sketch ~
My card is very simple since the sketch was very simple as well! My other hobby is nature. I love birds, wild turkey's, deer, changing leaves, blooming flowers, everthing! I used neutral colors as those are my favorites and THIS stamp, called Nest in Tree, that to me represents new baby birds or an omelette!! LOLOLOL!!! Here is my card ~
The base of this card is Dark Chocolate and is 5 1/4" square. I then added a Select White mat and then a piece of DP from GCD Studios. The brown ribbon is from SU! and the checkered ribbon is American Crafts. I stamped the image on Select White using Cocoa Memento and then colored using my Prismacolor pencils and outlined the image using one of my Grey Copics.
Have a great day but before you go, be sure to check out what my teammates did using this theme and sketch!
~Lynda
Love it! The browns are so pretty with the little pops of green!
