OH MY GOSH, I am so sorry this is late! It didn't post when I asked it to!!! LOL!!
Today is the official start of Verve's Fall Sneak Peeks!!! I have had SO much fun with these stamps! For the entire list of the Diva's peeking today go HERE or I have added their links at the bottom of this post!
I LOVE my card today. I love the colors, the stamps, the layout, everything!!! Don't feel bad if you don't like my card....really.....it won't hurt my feelings!!! LOLOLOL!!! This card is also for another one of the SCS Hope you can Cling to Challenges. The challenge is to use the color Brown as an accent instead of the usual Black. Did you know that they will have new a new challenge every day? There are already some awesome challenges. You can find the master challenge list HERE!
The base of this card is Early Espresso with a mat of the brown included in Basic Grey's Pyrus Collection. The flowers are from Verve's NEW Many Blessings set and was stamped on the distressed white paper also included in the Pyrus Collection, using Early Espresso ink. The flowers and bottom border are also from the same collection as are the leaves, butterflies and grass. The leaves and flowers were paper pieced and then I added a brown flower button and linen thread. The sentiment is included in the Many Blessings set...DUH?!?!?LOLOLOL and was stamped using Early Espresso. I added the piercing and then sewed on some linen thread. The scalloped border was punched using my Fiskars Apron punch.
Here is a closer look ~
