Thanks for coming by!!! I hope you are enjoying the Verve Sneak Peeks so far!!! Just wait until Friday night when Julee releases the sets, you will LOVE them! I know I do!!! Before I go on to my card, I want to let you know that I will be back later this morning with my Serendipity Stamps card!
OK, so today we are peeking a set called Merry Wishes that includes 19 stamps! Unfortunately, you will only get to peek one stamp from the set on my card today! That leaves 18 that you have no idea what they look like so you will definitely want to visit the Diva's blogs to get a better peek!!! LOL!!
For my card, I used the berry branch from the Merry Wishes set and two Plain Janes ~ Sweet Scallop Tag & Christmas Blessings. The tag was stamped using the Sweet Scallop Tag stamp and Cocoa Memento ink on Sahara Sand CS. The sentiment was stamped using Cranberry Crisp ink. I made a mask to stamp the berry branches on the inside by stamping the tag on scrap paper and cutting out the center. I then layed it on top of the tag and stamped the branch using Cocoa Memento but I wanted the branches lighter so I stamped it off 1 time before stamping on the CS. The tag is matted with Dark Chocolate CS, tied on the May Arts Taupe silk bow using linen thread. The corsage pins are by Maya Road. Don't they look like snowmen?!?! The DP's are some old Holiday Memory Box papers and were stitched on using my Janome Sew mini. I punched the bottom of the red polka dot piece using my SU! border punch and then added some SU! pearls. This was then mounted on a Sahara Sand card base.
