Are you ready to see some sneak peeks of Verve's AMAZING Winter stamps?!?! I sure am ready to share mine with you!!!
Today, the Diva's are peeking 5 NEW sets!!! Yes, you heard right, 5 new sets just today!!! This is not only a release filled with FANTASTIC stamps but LOTS of them!!! LOLOL!!! My card today is using the NEW Winter Mittens set ~
For the base of this card, I used a piece of clear cardstock. All of the decorative paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Mitten Weather Collection and the cardstock is Soft Suede, Vintage Cream and Perfect Plum. On the front of the card, I added a beautiful Zva rhinestone flourish, May Arts crochet ribbon, old lavender SU! fiber, a brown button and Ivory Burlap String. The decorative strip under the crochet ribbon was punched using one of my Fiskars punches and then matted with a punched layer of Perfect Plum CS.
The sentiment was stamped on Vintage Cream using Perfect Plum ink and the frame was stamped using Soft Suede ink. The mittens were paper pieced and then I added the same Ivory Burlap string to make them look like the actual stamped image does! I stamped the buttons on Vintage Cream using Perfect Plum ink, cut out and added to the mittens.

Here is a closer look which shows that I included a Vintage Cream base on the inside and Soft Suede and one of the patterns of DP included in the Mitten Weather Collection, on the back of the front flap of the card.
