My card today is for Tuesday's SCS color challenge to use Red, White and Gray. I STINK at color challenges but thought these colors would be really easy and they were! They are so pretty together. My card took MAYBE 10 minutes to make and the only reason it took that long was because I have to try to find stamp sets, ink pads, etc....SO, if you are organized, this card would only take you 3 minutes!!! LOLOL!!!
The base of this card is True Black and is 4 1/4" square. The next mat is Select White and then Basic Gray which was embossed using my leaves embossing folder. For the top panel, I cut the frame in the center using Labels Sixteen Nesties and then before removing the die from the cardstock, I used a Black gel pen and drew a frame. I really like how it turned out! I then added a white mat on the inside, stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from Verve's Big Wish set, using Black Memento ink. I then added the Red, Jenni Bowlin butterfly. BTW, the butterflies come in LOTS of different colors!!!
Here is a closer look ~
Speaking of Verve, in case you didn't know, there is a new release going on right now. You can check it out HERE. That will do it for me! Have a great day!

Very pretty card Lynda - I like the pearls at the butterfly's body! That nestability shape is so cool. Look forward to seeing you at the Verve release party this evening!
