Crazy 4 Challenges ~ Birthday Wishes....

It's Saturday and you know what that means, another Crazy challenge!  Today, Maria has challenged us to use the following sketch but first I wanted to tell you that I ordered some Sketch Copic Markers from Carpe Diem last night and they were $3.95 each AND I got free shipping (over $50).  The price per marker shows as $4.87 but when you add it to your cart, it will show $3.95!!!!!  I wanted to order some new markers and went with Carpe Diem because they had free shipping and then was SO excited to see the markers were even cheaper than I initially thought!!!  YAYAYAYAYAY!!!! lololol

Here is my card ~

The base of this card is Pure Poppy and then a mat of Select White which I embossed the top of using my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  The decorative paper is from Imaginisce and for the top wave, I used THIS Pierceabilities die.  I cut another piece of Pure Poppy with the same die and matted the DP with it.  The image is from Whipper Snapper and is called Sweet Sniffs of Spring.  I stamped that cute little doggie on Select White CS using Black Memento ink and then cut it out using my Labels Fourteen Nesties.  Before removing the die, I sponged a little Wild Wasabi and Crumb Cake for the gras and then colored using my Copics as well as my Prismacolor Pencils.  The sentiment is from Verve's Wish Big set and was stamped using Black Memento ink and the ribbon is from May Arts.
