I wish I was at the park, sitting under a nice tree covered with leaves and wearing a t-shirt and shorts!!! LOLOL!!! Well, maybe soon....but for now, I'll just stare at my card!!! LOLOL!!! The layout of this card is based on CPS' sketch for this week.
The base of this card is Select White with a mat of Early Espresso. The decorative paper is from American Crafts In the Park Collection. I matted the bottom DP with Baja Breeze CS and added Artichoke grass using my Martha Stewart grass punch. The sentiment is from MFT's Apple for you Pure Innocence set and was stamped using Early Espresso ink. Do you see the tree trunk and branches??? Oh my gosh, I LOVE the look of this!!! I started with Dark Brown CS and stamped the tree from Sheltering Tree using Early Espresso ink. I then lined up the Sheltering Tree die and cut it out! SIMPLE!!! The "leaves" are actually clouds. I used my MFT cloud die and cut a bunch from Kiwi Kiss CS. I then layered them on the trunk and branches. Here is a closer look ~
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!
