We didn't have a hop last month because of Verve's Anni-VERVE-sary so we are back on track this month with our little hop!!! In case you missed the new stamps released, you can check them all out HERE!!!
My card is a very simple one which seems the norm for me lately! In real life, the blues really do look more alike ~
The base of this card is Vintage Cream with a mat of Early Espresso and then DP from MME Stella Rose Mabel Collection. I stamped the frame from Verve's Tag Time set on the DP using Early Espresso ink and then stamped it again on the decorative blue paper and cut it out. I just LOVE the Small Phrases set and that is where I got the darling sentiment and stamped it using Early Espresso ink as well. I made the rose using some blue May Arts ribbon and followed the instructions from Beate's tutorial on SCS. The flowers leaves are from Sunny Days and were stamped on Pear Pizazz CS using Pear Pizazz ink and then cut out. The final step was to add the Zva pearls.

This is so pretty! What a great shade of blue for the ribbon flower. BUt I also love the text paper and the flourishes in pearls, too. Thanks for sharing!

In this case, simple is definitely better. Love the card, it is so elegant. And your flower is gorgeous! Just tried that tutorial myself a couple weeks ago and I love the results.
