Good Morning!

My sons football game was cancelled today so I was able to finish my Crazy card!!  Yes, I am a little late but at least I am posting it on the same day it was due!!! LOL!!!

Today's Crazy challenge is to incorporate candy in to your creation....

The base of this card is Select White with a mat of Kraft.  The 2 decorative strips are from MME Christmas Collection from last year...I think!!  I stamped the VERY festive Margaret {found HERE in the Totally Stampalicious store} on Select White using Black Memento ink.  I colored using my Copics and added some sparkly fluff to accent.  She also has some beautiful iridescent rhinestone earrings on!   I matted her with Rose Red CS and added some ribbon.

Holiday Wreath...Verve Style....

I have a quick card to share with you this morning that I actually had started making last week for Saturday's Crazy challenge but didn't get it finished in time!  The challenge was to make a 1 layer card and since I was late anyway, I decided to add a layer!!! LOL!!!

 

The base of the card is Soft Stone in which I stamped the darling snowflake wreath from Verve's Christmas in the Air set using Snow White ink.  I punched the bottom of the Soft Stone layer using my Martha border punch and then added a Select White panel on the inside which I embossed the bottom of using my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  The rhinestones are iridescent and are from Zva.  The final step was to add the Soft Sky ribbon and some iridescent floss.  Oh and I sponged the edges a little using the Snow White ink!  See how easy?!?!?  You would think I could have finished it in time......

Serendipity Wednesday ~ The Gift of Gratitude.....

Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a Thanksgiving card to share with you!  The reason it is a Thanksgiving card is because that is the DT's challenge from Serendipity Stamps!

For my card today, I used one of my favorite Fall stamps from Serendipity, Wheat Sheaf -

My card actually turned out a bit more plain than I expected but I have learned to not make adjustments once everything has been taped down!! LOL!!  I have ruined many cards BEFORE learning not to do this!!! Anyway, the base of this card is More Mustard.  I stamped the image on Fine Linen CS using Black Memento ink and then colored using my Copics.  I matted the image with Dark Chocolate CS and add the May Arts ribbon on the side.  The final step was to add Burgundy Stickles on the sheaf.

Happy Birthday Heather!!!!

Today, I would like to wish my very sweet friend Heather, owner of Paper Pretties, a VERY Happy Birthday!!!  To celebrate, the Prettie girls are taking part in a Birthday hop which was so kindly organized by our fearless leader, Frances!!!!

The stamp I decided to use for my card is from Paper Pretties Unknown Blessings set.  My feeling is that Heather will keep looking in her mailbox for my card to appear, just like the image, and it is unknown whether it will actually come or not!!!!  Chances are that it will not!! LOLOL!!!  Heck, I have a hard enough time getting a card made let alone send it so be happy with the picture Heather!!!!

The base of my card is Kraft with DP from Cosmo Cricket's Odds & Ends Collection.  The darling image was stamped on Select White using Black Memento ink.  I colored using my Copics and matted the image with Basic Grey CS.  The final step was to add the SU! red polka dot ribbon and punch the top using my SU! border punch.

Totally Stampalicious Christmas Release!!!

WELCOME!!

I am sharing two of the new stamps with you tonight!

Of course the base of this card is obviously Kraft with a mat of Basic Grey.  I printed the digi image, called Winterbird Snowman on Select White CS and colored using my Copics.  I added some Stardust Stickles to the snow balls and DARLING birdies tail!!!  The final step was to punch the bottom of the panel using my EK Success tiny scalloped border punch and pink and white twine.  I did add a couple silver bells as well.

Here is my second card using Deacon and Eva Ho Ho ~

The base of this card is Pure Poppy CS with a mat of Select White.  The decorative paper is from Bo Bunny.  I added some red glitter paper which I punched using my Fiskars Apron border punch.  I paper pieced the Ho Ho and colored the rest of the image with my Copics.  I did add some Stardust Stickles on this one as well.

Crazy For Challenges - Outlines Gift Card Holder.....

Happy Saturday!

It's time for another CRAZY Challenge.  Before we get into today's challenge, as this week is a sponsored challenge, we need to introduce this month's sponsor which is Outlines Rubber Stamps. Tammy has challenged us to use heat embossing on our card or project!  Here is my gift card holder ~

The base of my card is Kraft with a mat of True Black.   The darling Outlines gift card holder stamp can be found HERE.  It is such a versatile stamp!  I stamped the entire image on Select White CS.  I cut out the outer frame and inner frame.  Colored them using my Copics, added some bling and used my glitter pens to highlight.  I embossed the crosshatch center Kraft panel using Black embossing powder and popped it up on dimensional strips.  It is so cool because the gift card fit just perfectly in there!  What a neat idea!  I'm not sure if I really like these colors so I'll just have to make another one using different colors.

Serendipity Wednesday ~ Happy Thanksgiving.....

Today's Serendipity Stamps challenge was to make a card or project using the following picture as inspiration:

I used the Green, Orange and Kraft colors for my card ~

The beautiful Horn of Plenty on Naturals Ivory CS using Black Memento ink.  I colored using my Copics, sponged the edges of the image using Crumb Cake and Early Espresso ink, matted with Early Espresso CS and adhered it on top of some old Graphic 45 DP.   I did punch the right edge using my Fiskars apron border punch and added a strip of Early Espresso CS behind it.  I then added the natural burlap string and green SU! button.  The base of the card is Kraft.

Paper Pretties October Release!!! You Go Girl!!!!

Today is the day that the new Paper Pretties stamp sets the DT have been previewing this week are now available for purchase HERE in the Pretties store!!!

I am sharing with you another sample using the Basketball Lily set!  She is SO easy to color and the set has some great sentiments included as well!

The base of this card is Kraft and I made a basketball, which my son said did NOT look like a basketball, out of Mustard CS and an embossing folder.  I added the lines with an Early Espresso marker.  I stamped Lily using Black Memento ink on Select White CS and colored using my Copics.  I adhered her using dimensionals and stamped the sentiment to the side of the "basketball".

Paper Pretties October Preview Day 3!!!

Hi again!

Wow, posting 2 days in a row!  This is definitely a record!!!  Today is preview day 3 of Paper Pretties October release.  Oh my gosh, you will definitely want to visit the Paper Pretties blog today and see all the cute samples made with the new No place like Gnome set!!

 The base of this card is Dark Chocolate.  The hills are from Cosmo Cricket and the cloud paper is from MME.  I stamped the gnome and mushrooms on Select White CS, cut them out and colored them using my Copics.  I didn't add one of the cute sentiments yet.  I will wait to see what I need a card for first!!!  Anyway, another simple card!  Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Paper Pretties October Preview Day 2!!!

Hi!

Today is day 2 of Paper Pretties October previews!  My card today is very simple as usual but is including a DARLING new basketball image and sentiment!!!

The base of this card is Kraft.  I stamped the darling image one time on the Kraft CS using Black Memento ink, sponged Going Gray ink to represent a shadow and then stamped the image again on Select White CS, colored using Copics and cut it out.  I punched the bottom of the front flap using my Fiskars Apron border punch, added a strip of Basic Gray CS, stamped the sentiment using black Memento ink and then added the silver beads which I got at Michael's.
