Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Lawren!!!

I definitely wanted to post on my blog today to wish everyone a VERY Merry Christmas and also to wish my Paper Pretties teammate, Lawren, a VERY Happy Birthday!!!!  In honor of her birthday, we are doing a blog hop!  Next on the hop is Cely Smith!! 

Before I go on to my card, here is a picture I sent out of my kids this year ~

We had fun putting it together.  Their hands are taped together too!!!  Anyway, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!  Here is my card ~

So this isn't a birthday card but, I just LOVE this tree image and since I haven't made hardly any Christmas cards, I really wanted to make one before it was too late!!! LOL!!!  The base of my card is Raspberry Fizz with a mat of Dark Chocolate and of course Kraft on top.  I stamped the beautiful tree from Paper Pretties O Christmas Tree set using Raspberry Fizz ink.  The trunk was stamped using Crumb Cake ink.  The sentiment is was stamped using Early Espresso ink.  The final step was to add the clear rhinestones.  This was a SUPER easy card to make!

With Heartfelt Sympathy.....

Wow, posting 2 days in a row.....that's unusual!! LOL!!!  I actually made the card I am going to share today, a few weeks back.  As I said I am stamping just for gifts right now and this card WAS going to be included with some others for my MIL's bday last month but alas....I have not finished the cards so now she will hopefully get them for a Christmas present!!!

The base of this card is Kraft with a mat of Early Espresso and then MME Stella Rose - Hazel DP.  The butterfly was cut using my SU! Sizzlet and another pattern of the MME paper.  I stamped the beautiful Verve sentiment {from New Mercies} on Vintage Cream CS using Early Espresso ink.  I then cut out the sentiment using Verve's Curvy Bookplate Die and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  The final step was to add the SU! ribbon, Jenni Bowlin stick pin and clear rhinestones on the butterfly.

Totally Stampalicious ~ Let it Snow.....

This week's Totally Stampalicious challenge is to add some snow to our creations.  These days, the only creations I am making are those that I need to be sending for Christmas very soon!!!!  I added some snowflake paper to my card so that should work for the snow challenge right?!?  Anyway, here is a card I will be sending my Nephew, with money inside of course!!!

 

The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler with a mat of Select White and the DP is some old SU! paper.  I stamped the HILARIOUS Margaret on Select White using Black Memento ink and then colored using my Copics.  I used my Creative Memories corner rounder, added some Stickles on the ornaments, rhinestones on her earrings and then used some Early Espresso satin ribbon as well as some red and white twine to tie on the sentiment.  On the inside it says " He knows where you have been on the Internet".  That just cracks me up!!!  Anyway, I hope you have a great day!!
