I have a few things to share today! First of all, I am going to post some pictures of my cute kids! Tamara said I couldn't do it but I am going to share some "personal" things about my family and I! Now, it may not be exciting to some BUT when you live out it the middle of nowhere, what we do in our spare time is pretty darned exciting!!!!
Last weekend we had some beautiful weather! It was in the 80's, no humidity and NO bugs! What is up with that? We live in the woods. We have gnats, no-see-ums (I am from CA, I don't know what the heck these are but they bite!), mosquitoes, 500 species of biting flies and ticks! The ticks are so bad that my kids have contests of who has more ticks on them after a trip in the woods. Anywhooooo..... the picture on the left is of my awesome son Joey. He is 9 1/2 years old. He brought his lacrosse stick with him on our hike, which was on our land, so he could throw the tennis ball for Casper, our black lab who is our best friend. We saw lots of deer and bunny rabbits. It's funny that we have been doing this for so many years but we still enjoy it so much. We still love seeing the wildlife because every year there is more and more. We also look for interesting rocks and arrowheads. Chris has a knack for finding arrowheads! The next picture was taken the same day, with my NEW camera (which I am still trying to learn how to use!) of my beautiful daughter Mary.
Mary will be 7 next month. I can't believe how quickly they have grown! Mary didn't want to bring her lacrosse stick on our walk. She wanted to bring a snack (Oreo's) instead. I thought this picture turned out really good! I did take some pictures of the deer and bunnies but due to my lack of ability to focus, they didn't turn out very well. OK, I have shared personal information and NOW I will share my "Other" topic....
I GOT MY NEW STAMPIN' UP! CATALOG TODAY!!!! Don't worry, if you are in my hostess club, you will receive yours tomorrow!!! Anyway, I REALLY like a lot of the new sets and embellishments BUT, I must say, the price increases are really steep. I was surprised at how much everything went up. I certainly expected an increase and yes, it was time since they really hadn't had an increase for many years but gosh, some things went up way too much! I don't feel the overwhelming urge, as I have in the past, to "need" everything right now. Maybe, just maybe, I am growing up......................................................................
Maybe NOT!!!!!
