Crazy 4 Challenges ~ Butterfly Thanks....

Hello!

In case you didn't know, you can now purchase Julee's NEW Verve Stamps!! They are available HERE in the Verve store!

Now, on to the Crazy challenge! Cindy has given us a wonderful sketch to work ~

Here is my card ~

The base of this card is Early Espresso. The off white and beautiful blue decorative paper is from MME's Flea Market Collection. The top Early Espresso piece was embossed using my SU! Victorian Wallpaper folder. The lace is some old lace I had in my stash, added a SU! vintage pin and added the Martha Stewart tag that was stamped using a sentiment from Verve's Circular Sayings set. Timage is an old Inkadinkado stamp and was stamped 2 times on the Flea Market paper and one was cut out. I added a few clear rhinestones because I had to!! LOLOL!!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A Holiday Gift, Tag, etc. Challenge!!!

Hello!

I feel like I haven't posted in a LLLOOOONNNNGGGG time. I haven't had time to stamp lately and today was no exception!! I am late, I'm always late, late should be my middle name!!! LOL!!! Today's Jbelle challenge is to make a Holiday bag, box, tag, basically any type of gifty thing! I decided to make a tag and it took me a lot longer than I expected. Just what you need when you only have a little time to make something!! LOLOL!!!

Here is my tag~

The May Arts Twinkle ribbon at the top is looped so it can slide over a bottle of wine. The base of the tag is Basic Black CS with a decorative layer of THIS Pink Paislee paper and then THIS Pink Paislee DP. The Inkadinkado birds were stamped on Whisper White using Black Momento ink and colored using my Prismacolor Pencils as well as my Copic markers. I stamped the bottom of the branch on another piece of Whisper White using Black Momento ink and then cut it out using THESE Spellbinders labels. I stamped the sentiment, from THIS Verve stamp set, using Black Momento just below the branch. I popped up the label and ran black velvet ribbon underneath and added a knot.

A Jbelle Sketch Challenge on Wednesday because I am a DORK!!!!

Because I am SO stupid and can't follow instructions, I am sharing my Jbelle card with you today that should have been done yesterday....I know, I know, it's typical of me, just ask my family!!! LOLOLOL!!!! You know what the worst part about the fact that I did the wrong Jbelle challenge yesterday??? I'm the one that posts the challenges!!! LOLOLOL!!! I have no excuse for being so lame!!!!

Here is my card!!!

The base of this card is Basic Black with a mat of Vintage Cream from PTI (Papertrey Ink). The top decorative piece is from Pink Paislee's Amber Road Collection and was punched using one of my Martha Stewart punches. I stamped the Inkadinkado ornament on the same Vintage Cream CS using Basic Black ink. I added some color and glitter using my Black, Light Green and Sand Copic Spica glitter pens. I cut the image out using my oval Nesties, matted it on a Basic Black oval and then on a Basic Black square that I embossed using one of my new Cuttlebug embossing folders (this means that I can't remember the name of the folder and am too lazy to get up and look!!! LOL!!!). The final step was to add the Cream May Arts satin ribbon and clear Martha Stewart rhinestones to the centers of the flower border as well as the ornament.

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A One Layer Card!?!?

Here I am, posting 2 days in a row now!!! Now don't go getting spoiled as I am sure it won't last!!! LOL!!! I have so many stamps I want to use and if I could just get a landscaper, cleaning lady, animal taker-carerer (I am SURE that is a word), bus driver, etc...I would have a LOT more time to stamp!!! LOL!! Maybe I should talk to my husband about this problem when he gets home tonight!!! LOL!!

So, before I go on to my Jbelle card, I want to let you know that Lindsey has gotten TONS more new things in her store!! There is NEW Inkadinkado, Jenni Bowlin, Making Memories, Martha Stewart and Pink Paislee!

One more thing, Jacksonbelle Embellishments is having a contest!!! The contest will go along with our Tuesday challenges. You can find ALL of the contest details HERE!!!

This weeks challenge is to make a 1 layer card. The keyword when uploading to SCS is JBE069. Here is my card ~

My card took longer to get a decent picture of than to make! LOL!!! The card, OBVIOUSLY, is Whisper White. I then stamped the Inkadinkado image using Basic Black ink. I then measured 1" in on all 4 corners, took a ruler, lined up each corner mark and made a line using a black marker. I then added clear Martha Stewart rhinestones. The sentiment is from Verve's Circular Sayings and was stamped using Basic Black as well. I colored a few of the flowers using Soft Sky ink & a blender pen. You can't see it in the picture but I colored the stems light green using my Copic Spica glitter pen.

Jacksonbelle Cards....

I was not able to finish my Jbelle card yesterday but was able to today!! My kids go back to school next Tuesday and we still have so much to do to get ready!!! Anyway, here is my card based on yesterday's Jbelle sketch challenge ~

The base of my card is Chocolate Chip with a mat of Whisper White, which I sponged using Ranger Antique Linen ink and Pale Plum ink. The 3 decorative mats are from a decorative paper pack I got from Lindsey last Fall called Twiggy and is by Memory Box. I matted the strips using Perfect Plum ink. I cut the bottom border using THIS Spellbinders Pierceabilities die. I then added some lavender Kaiser rhinestones. The ribbon is from May Arts and the image is from Inkadinkado. I stamped the image on Whisper White using Chocolate Chip ink, cut it out using my oval Nesties and then I left the oval die on and sponged Old Olive on top, then Perfect Plum in the center and So Saffron on the bottom. I then added 3 layers of Ultra Thick Embossing Powder, let it cool and then cracked it. I matted it on another decorative piece included in the same Memory Box paper which I cut using my Labels Four Nesties.

I already had the image colored for the next card so when I saw today's sketch challenge at SCS, I thought it would work perfectly!

The base of this card is Whisper White with a mat of Pumpkin Pie and then a decorative piece of paper from an SU! collection from last year. The strip down the side is Pink Pirouette which was punched using one of Martha Stewart punches. I then added some Martha Stewart rhinestones to the centers of each flower. I then added a strip of Whisper White and then Pumpkin Pie that I ran through my Cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder. The beautiful silk ribbon is from May Arts.

The next mat is Pink Pirouette CS with a decorative piece of Pink Bella Birds DP. I then stamped the darling Stampavie image using Black Memento ink on Whisper White CS and colored using my Copics.

Lindsey has lots of new products in her store!!! She will have new Cosmo in stock any day now but does have DARLING Christmas Stampavie stamps for pre-order and has new ProvoCraft embossing folders!!!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A Sketch Challenge!!!

Now, I already typed up my post for today's challenge and then was all done and ***PFTTT***!! That means it went away and NEVER came back!!! LOL!!! Needless to say, there was some irritation on my part but lucky you, I will make this short because I'm tired of typing!!! LOLOLOL!!! Here is today's sketch ~

Here is my card ~

The base of this card is Chocolate Chip CS with a mat of DP from Basic Grey's Wisteria Collection which I punched using THIS Martha Stewart border punch. I added a small strip of Whisper White along the bottom of the DP and THESE Basic Grey rhinestones on the scallop.

For the image piece, I used 2 different size of square Nestabilities dies and embossed the squares, not cut. I left the smaller square in place and used post it notes to hold it in place & mask around the outside of the square so when I stamped, the ink didn't get on the paper. Before I stamped the Inkadinkado branch inside the square using Chocolate Chip ink, I punched a few small butterflies and adhered them inside the square so they would act as a mask. I then sponged inside the square using Creamy Caramel ink and then Chocolate Chip ink. I then adhered 1 white butterfly and rhinestone on a branch. I then matted this on Chocolate Chip CS and then added a Pewter label holder from We R Memory Keepers with the sentiment from Verve's Artful Elegance. The final step was to add some Natural Hemp!

There Are No Small Miracles....

Hello!!!
My SIL had a little girl a few weeks back and being the horrible Aunt that I am, I JUST finished the card!! I had made a couple cards like this before and just thought the idea was so cute and wanted to make another. The idea was TOTALLY CASEd from Debbie Olsen. HERE are the 2 I made last year. Here is my card ~

The base of this card is Whisper White and was cut using my Oval Nesties. The top decorative paper is some pink floral paper by Imaginisce and is from their Fairest of them all line. The ribbon is white Tafetta and the button is something I had in my stash. The darling image is by Inkadinkado and was stamped on Whisper White using Basic Black ink. I used chalk to "color" the moon and for the hat and stars on the blanket, I used a blender pen and Pink Pirouette ink pad. I colored the bear using Prismacolor pencils. I added some Copic Spica clear glitter to the stars and to highlight the moon. I cut the moon out and added white flocking (used my Quickie glue pen) to the entire blanket. It looks so cute IRL!!! Here is a closer look ~

I used dimensionals to mount this on the front. For the inside, I stamped the sentiment, There are no small Miracles, using Basic Black. The darling sentiment is included in Verve's Beautiful You set. I also added some small Pink Pirouette stars around the sentiment. I also added the clear glitter from the Copic Spica glitter pen on each star and glued them down using my Quickie glue pen. here is a picture ~

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ Jump in to Summer....

Today is Tuesday and that means that it is time for another Jbelle Challenge! This week's challenge is to make a card with a Summer theme (i.e. beach, picnic, sun, etc...). If you would like to play along with us, when you upload your card to SCS, be sure to include keyword JBE054. Here is my card ~
The base is a 5 1/4" square of Pink Pirouette CS. I added 2 different patterns of decorative paper from the Basic Grey Porcelain Collection on a mat of Whisper White. The image is from Inkadinkado and was stamped on Whisper White using Basic Black ink. I colored using my Prismacolor Pencils and a blender pen & Real Red and Barely Banana ink pads. I paper pieced the little boys shorts and the little girls dress ~ also from paper from the Porcelain Collection and added some December Sky Shimmerz to the ocean. I then matted the image on Basic Black, added some stitching on the base panel and then mounted the image using dimensionals. Here is a close up ~

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A Sketch Challenge!!!

Good Morning!
I haven't had a ton of time to stamp lately due to the Easter and the fact that my kids have been home since Friday for Spring Break!!! I find it difficult to stamp much when they are around due to the fact that I taught them my name!!! LOL!!!! WHY did I do that?!?!? LOLOLOL!!!!

Luckily, this card came together quite quickly for me! Here is the sketch (the keyword is incorrect on the sketch so if you do play along, the CORRECT keyword is JBE049) ~

Here is my card ~

You are probably saying, why does her card NOT look exactly like the sketch?!?!? Well, it WAS going to look just like the sketch until I started becoming an overachiever by sewing on my card and THEN messed up my opening SO I then added my ribbon THERE to cover up my boo boo instead of on the other side.... LOL!!! If you would like to play along, be sure to follow the sketch!!! LOL!!! Really though, if you do, please used keyword JBE049 so we can all see how YOU can follow instructions!!!

The base of this card is Chocolate Chip CS with a mat of Naturals Ivory CS and then a decorative piece of paper from THIS Pink Paislee Collection. I used my Janome Sew Mini to sew around and then added THESE Daisy D's Brown photo metal corners. The darling Inkadinkado Fawn image was stamped on Naturals Ivory CS using Creamy Caramel Craft ink and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I then cut the image out using my rectangle Nesties and left the die on and sponged Creamy Caramel and Chocolate Chip Dye Ink on the edges. I then added white to the Fawn's spots using my white gel pen. I sewed in each corner and then added a brown Kaiser Craft pearl, matted on a scalloped Chocolate Chip piece, added a strip of May Arts ribbon and then a little bow of natural hemp twine.

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A White on White Challenge!!!

Good Morning!
We have a fun challenge for you today! If you haven't tried this, you really have to! I never would have thought to layer white on top of white but what a beautiful effect it has! I was totally inspired by THIS card of Denise's. It is SO pretty! My card actually has more color than I initially wanted. I will definitely make another card using this technique and TRY to follow the instructions better!!! LOL!!! I was on the phone with my friend Trudy last night while finishing my card and I was telling her that my card today didn't EXACTLY follow the challenge and she said that I NEVER can follow instructions!!! LOL!!! I know huh!?!?! This one is close though, ok....maybe not!!!! LOL!!!!
The base of this card is Whisper White and is 4" square. I added a white mat that I ran through my Cuttlebug using my Birds and Swirls embossing folder. The VERY SMALL SQUARE of beautiful blue paper is by Basic Grey and is from their Marrakech collection. I matted this VERY SMALL piece with a VERY SMALL piece of Basic Black CS. The black satin ribbon is from May Arts and was ran over the white scalloped oval which I also ran through the Cuttlebug using the Birds and Swirls folder and then cut it out using my oval Nesties. I stamped the darling Inkadinkado image called Duet on Whisper White CS using Basic Black ink and then cut it out using my oval Nesties. I colored the birds and branches using my Prismacolor Pencils and colored the flowers using Pink Shimmerz, added black Kaiser rhinestones and then added Candle Light Shimmerz to the birds bodies.
