Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ Friendship Warms the Heart!!!

Good Morning!

Today's Jbelle challenge is to use BLING.  That's easy huh?!?  Oh my gosh, before I show you my card, I HAVE to tell you that Lindsey is going to get My Favorite Things stamps in her store!!!  This INCLUDES the much loved Pure Innocence stamps!!!  I am SO excited!  To get YOU excited, for my card today, I used one of the new stamps she will be getting VERY soon!!!

 

First of all, the layout of this card is based on Julee's Mojo Monday sketch #121.  The base of this card is Lavender Lace and then a mat of Whisper White and finally Chocolate Chip CS.  The DP on the top is from Imaginisce.  The strip across the top is Chocolate Chip and Whisper White CS which was punched using my new EK Success border punch and then another Imaginisce DP pattern on top of the two.  The white ribbon is from SU! and I have no idea where I got the rose grosgrain.  The button is SU!, the glitter flower is from Making Memories and finally, some Zva bling swirls!!!  The darling image is called Merry KISSmas and was stamped onWhisper White using Basic Black ink.  I paper pieced the majority of the image and added some white glitter fluff which I bought from Our Craft Lounge on the hats, gloves and the little girls scarf.  I added some Zva rhinestones to the snowman's buttons and clear Martha Stewart glitter for the snow.

Jacksonbelle Tuesday and the NEW DT Announcement....

Good Morning!

First off I wanted to share with you a few pictures from our snow days!!!   Hopefully, we will be able to get out of the house today as I still have shopping to do!

The kids made a sports snowman yesterday ~

Here is a picture of a Blue Jay that obviously has not missed a meal so far this winter!

 

Finally, here is a picture of our kitten Waldo.  He apparently has had too much excitement with all the snow!

 

Now, on to the challenge and DT announcement!  Our challenge today is to use ANY Jbelle product.  Since Christmas is right around the corner, the challenge was a simple one!!! LOL!!

Here is my card for today's challenge ~

 

The layout of this card is from Julee's Mojo Monday #118.  The base of this card is Vintage Cream with a mat of Pure Poppy and then Dark Chocolate, all from PTI.  The DP is from Pink Paislee's Cupid Collection.  This particular pattern is currently sold out but will be back in stock this week!!!  I cut the bottom of the gingham piece using one of my Pierceabilities dies and then stamped the birthday sentiment, using Chocolate Chip ink,  which is from Stampavie and can be found HERE!

The strip is first Vintage Cream then Dark Chocolate and then a strip of Pure Poppy that was embossed using my Victoria folder.    I cut the bottom of the Vintage Cream piece using the same Pierceabilities die but this time I embossed and pierced the border.    The darling little Stampavie cupcake was stamped on Vintage Cream using Black Momento ink and then colored using my Copics and Prismacolor pencils.    I added Crystal Effects to the cherry and clear Martha glitter on the icing.  I cut the image using my circle Nesties and then matted with Dark Chocolate and then Pink Pirouette CS.  I added the brown May Arts ribbon and then the Zva rhinestones.

Krafty Verve Thank You.............

Hi Again!

I made this card last week and hadn't had a chance to post it so here goes!!!  The layout is based on Julee's Mojo Monday sketch from a week ago.  

 

The base of this card is Kraft CS and then the pink DP at the top is some old Bo Bunny paper and then it was matted with white.  I punched both using my Martha Stewart Doily punch.  Of course I had to add clear MS rhinestones and the ribbon is from May Arts.  The sentiment is from Verve's brand new set called Celebration of Thanks and was stamped on Whisper White using Chocolate Chip ink.  I punched it out using the Martha Stewart tag punch and tied on using white scrappers floss.

The cute little tulip image is from Verve's Miracles Blossom set and the stem was stamped directly on the Kraft CS using Alway Artichoke ink.  I added some green glitter using my Copic Spica glitter pen.  The flower pot was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White CS, cut out and colored using my Prismacolor pencils.  The tulip was also stamped on a scrap of Whisper White, cut out and colored using a blender pen and Pink Pirouette ink pad.  The flower pot and flower were adhered using dimensionals.  Easy peasy!

Mojo Monday ~ Peace on Earth.....

Hello!

Here it is, Wednesday already!  Where does the time go?  LOL!!!  The card I am going to share with you today is based on Julee's Mojo Monday sketch #111.  Since it is the first challenge of the month, Julee has a contest going!!!  You could win a Verve stamp set of your choice up to a $24 value!!!  Head on over to the Mojo blog and check out all the details!

Here is my card ~

The base of this card is Whisper White with a mat of Dark Brown Bazzill CS and finally, 2 different patterns of paper from My Minds Eye, Merry Days of Christmas Collection.  The polka dot piece was punched down the side using my EK Success mini scallop punch.  I then added brown pearls from Kaiser.  The image is from Verve's O Christmas Tree set and was stamped on Whisper White CS using Always Artichoke ink.  The second tree was stamped off 1 time prior to stamping on the CS.  I then used a blender pen and Chocolate Chip ink for the first tree trunk and Close to Cocoa ink for the trunk of the second tree.  I then made a mask of the tree so I could sponge Bordering Blue ink and then Going Gray ink around the trees.  I cut the image out using my square Nesties and did my sponging prior to removing the die.  I then added Clear Martha Stewart glitter to the trees and base of trees using my Quickie glue pen.  I matted this piece on the Dark Brown Bazzill and then adhered the image in place.  The final step was to stamp the Peace on Earth sentiment, from Verve's Star of Wonder set, using Chocolate Chip ink on the image piece as well as the open DP.  I then stamped a star, from the same Star of Wonder set, on a scrap piece of Whisper White, cut it out and colored it using my Silver Copic Spica glitter pen.

Mojo Monday ~ An Unconventional Christmas Card....

Hi!

Have you seen the NEW My Minds Eye Colorful Christmas papers???  You will now!!!  Oh and don't forget, everything in Lindsey store is 25% off and YES, that includes the new MME papers!!!  My card today is based on Julee's Mojo Monday sketch #107.  There is a contest this week and let me tell you, you will want to play because if you win, you could have your choice of a $24 Verve stamp set AND there is a brand NEW AMAZING release coming up in a few weeks!!!  

 

The base of this card is Whisper White with a mat of Melon Mambo and then a piece of Colorful Christmas decorative paper.  The 2 panels are first Rich Razzleberry CS and then another decorative piece of paper from the same MME Colorful Christmas Collection.  The strip is Whisper White and was punched using my SU! border punch and then I added some Orange ribbon I picked up at Michael's.  I also added some bright pink MAMBI rhinestones.  The sentiment, snowflake circle and individual  snowflake are stamps included in Verve's Winter Wonder stamp set.  The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White CS using Kiwi Kiss ink.  I then added the snowflake using Tangerine ink and cut it out using my circle Nesties.  I stamped the snowflake circle on Whisper White using Rich Razzleberry ink  and also cut this, as well as the Kiwi Kiss circle, using my Nesties.  I then cut a scalloped circle from Vellum CS.  I added Stardust Stickles to the centers of all of the snowflakes on the circle as well as the center of the Tangerine snowflake.

Mojo Monday ~ Strut Your STUFF!!!!

At Verve's release party Friday night, someone mentioned that the swans from Swan Song could be made to look like peacocks...hmmm....well, ok!!! LOL!!  Well, here is my Swan...I mean Peacock ~ what do you think?

I used the layout from Julee's Mojo Monday sketch HERE!  I was totally inspired to try it when I saw fellow Diva, Teresa Kline's, awesome Mojo sample.  The image was stamped on Whisper White using Black Momento ink 3 times.  One piece I cut using my square Nesties and then cut out 2 layers of feathers on the other 2 images.  The feathers were colored using my Copics and the body was colored using my Prismacolor pencils and then I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter using my Quickie glue pen.  I added a couple of lavender rhinestones on the knees.  I matted the image with first Basic Black CS and then Eggplant.  The lower White White mat was embossed using my Quickutz Diamonds and Dots embossing folder.  I then matted using some green K&Co. glitter paper then Eggplant and finally on top of a Basic Black card.  The layer circles are Eggplant and the same green glitter paper.  The ribbon is May Arts silk ribbon.

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ A Sketch Challenge!!!

Today's Jbelle challenge is a sketch!     The card I am going to share with you is NOT based on the sketch because I am an idiot and made a card based on NEXT weeks challenge which is to make a Fall or Halloween card....I know, I have issues.....LOLOLOL!!!  I now need to work on a card based on the sketch or Lindsey will fire me!!! LOLOLOL!!!

Now, on to my incorrect card!!! LOL!!!  The sketch is based on Julee's Mojo Monday sketch from yesterday.  Julee is having a contest so be sure to check it out!!!

Here I was thinking that I was ahead of the game!! LOL!!  The base of this card is Riding Hood Red with a mat of PTI Vintage Cream CS and then a top mat of PTI Dark Chocolate CS.  The decorative strips are from Jenni Bowlin's Town Square Collection and matted with Riding Hood Red CS.  The bottom decorative scallop is also from Jenni Bowlin which was punched using one of my Martha punches.  The strip above is Riding Hood Red and then Vanilla Tafetta which I also added a Antique Brass buckle.

The House-Mouse image was stamped on Vintage Cream CS using Chocolate Chip ink.  I colored using my Prismacolor Pencils and matted the image using Dark Chocolate CS.

Mojo Monday ~ Believe in Fairy Tales.....

Good Morning!
I can't believe how quickly our Summer has been slipping by!!  It's starting to get dark earlier which I hate!  I like when it is light until 9, then I feel like I still have time to get things done!!!  Oh well!!  I did have a few minutes to make a card yesterday based on Julee's Mojo Monday sketch #97. 

I was at Joann's the other day and saw the DCWV La Creme stack and fell in LOVE!!!  Oh my gosh is it beautiful!  I needed more paper like a hole in the head but could not pass it up!  The base of this card is Whisper White with a mat of Basic Black.  I then added a white Martha Stewart doily border on the bottom as well as under the image.  The top and bottom DP is from the La Creme stack.  The ribbon is black velvet and is from SU!

The image in the circle was actually cut from a flocked piece of DP in the same collection using my circle Nesties.  I added clear rhinestones to the centers of the flowers and matted the image on a Basic Black circle.  The sentiment and flourish are from Verve's Fairy Tale set and was stamped on Whisper White using Basic Black ink.  I then punched it out using my large oval SU! punch and then matted it on a decorative frame which was cut from Basic Black using one of the Sizzlet Lots of Tags dies.

I made the decorative corner by using the doily punch on a scrap of Whisper White and then used my SU! photo corner punch, lined the large punch up so the scallops would be even and then punched.  I layered a small black photo corner on top.  I did have to trim the black photo corner on the ends so the doily scallops would peak through.  I then punched a couple of Martha Stewart confetti hearts from Basic Black CS and then added black flock on top of both hearts.  Here is a closer look ~

Mojo Monday ~ Flowers for a Friend....

Hi!!!
I made a quick card today for a Birthday party we will be attending this weekend.  The layout is based on today's Mojo Monday sketch and the colors are based on today CAS challenge.  I needed this card to be quick because I still need to finish up my Verve Project Parade project!!!  I LOVE my project and can't wait to share it with you.  My turn will be Wednesday but in the mean time, be sure to check out all the AWESOME projects/cards the Diva's have done so far HERE!!!  Also, in case you didn't know, Julee has all her Christmas sets on sale right now!!!  You can check it all out HERE! 

Now, on to my card ~

The base is PTI Lemon Tart CS and is 5" square.  The next mat is Whisper White and then a decorative piece of MME Bloom and Grow paper and then again Whisper White, Tangerine Tango and finally, 3 strips from the same MME Collection.  The ribbon is PTI Lemon Tart.  The image is one I have had for a long time and is Elzybells.  I stamped the image on Whisper White using Basic Black and then colored with a combination of Prismacolor Pencils, Pink Pirouette ink pad & blender pen and Copic glitter pens.  I cut the image out using my circle Nesties and matted it on Celery CS.

Celebrate ~ Happy 4th (a little early)!!!

I made a card yesterday based LOOSELY on Julee's Mojo Monday sketch #93.   This was a simple card which since we have been SO busy, that worked perfectly for my schedule. 

The base of this card is Whisper White and is 5 1/4" square.  I then matted Night of Navy and the decorative paper is from an old SU! Simply Scrappin' kit (can't remember the name of it).  I don't send 4th of July cards so I made this card so I can send it for a masculine Birthday.  I LOVED the eagle and couldn't wait to use it!  The eagle is from Serendipity and can be found HERE.  I stamped the eagle 2 times on Whisper White and cut out the head on one of them and mounted it on top of the first stamped image using dimensionals.  I colored the beak using a blender pen and So Saffron ink pad and for the eye, I used Soft Sky ink and a blender pen.  The body was colored using Prismacolor pencils.  I then matted the image on Basic Black and then Soft Sky.  For the strip, I punched the tree border from Wild Wasabi CS and then added a strip of Night of Navy and a small border of Whisper White.  The star brads are from SU! as is the silver label hardware.  The sentiment is an SU! rub on.

Hopefully tomorrow I can stay home and get some stampin' time which would be nice since I have lots to do!!!  Hope your day is wonderful!
