I can't believe it is Thursday already! I was working on my OCC card today and didn't like how it was turning out SO I made this card instead! LOL!!!
Part of this card was SUPPOSED to be on my OCC card but I can't tell you which because then it will give Saturday's challenge away!!!! You will have to wait until Saturday and then you'll know!!! LOL!!! The layout of this card is an old "Sketch for you to Try" ~ AKA ~ SFYTT!!! The base of this card is Chocolate Chip with a mat of Prety in Pink and then Kraft. I sponged all card stock edges with Creamy Caramel ink. The decorative paper is from Basic Grey's Bittersweet Collection and it was matted with Chocolate Chip card stock. I ran the SU! felt Chocolate Chip ribbon over the big piece (under the scalloped circle) and under the narrow piece. I then added some May Arts brown & white polka dot ribbon, tied a knot and added a Kraft tag (Martha Stewart punch) that was stamped with the Warmest Thanks sentiment from THIS Verve set using Chocolate Chip ink. I did sponge the tag too and then tied it on using linen thread.
The top circle for the focal image is Kraft card stock that was cut and embossed using my circle Nesties. Before removing the die, I stamped the filigree background from THIS Verve set using Versamark ink. After the Versamark dried, I sponged around the edges using Creamy Caramel ink and then added the Heidi Swapp clear rhinestone circle. The flowers are from the same Grateful Elegance Verve set and were stamped on the pink Basic Grey paper using Chocolate Chip ink. I cut them out and added Pixie Pink Blingz, clear rhinestones and mounted them using dimensionals on a Kraft flourish that I cut with the Doodle Parts die set. The butterfly is THIS small freak butterfly by StarvingArtistamps and was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock using Chocolate Chip ink. I colored using my Prismacolor Pencils and add the same Pixie Pink Blingz. This piece was then matted with a Chocolate Chip scalloped circle. Here is a close up of the flowers and butterfly ~
Well, I better go whip up some dinner! Hope you have a nice evening!
