SCS Sketch Challenge Wednesday ~ Thomas Kinkade Christmas!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted my 8th Day of Christmas!  I am working on many things at one time but have yet to actually finish ONE of them!!! LOL!!!  I hope to post tomorrow and Friday so stay tuned!!!

Today's sketch at SCS is a really easy one!  Here is my card ~

The colors are the same as yesterday's ~ Sahara Sand, Basic Black and Poison Ivory Shimmery cardstock.  I REALLY wanted to use different colors but these looked SO pretty together, I couldn't come up with others that I liked with this stamp!!!  The base of the card is Poison Ivory and then a mat of Basic Black and then Sahara Sand.  The stamp can be found at CHF and is called Village Christmas.  I stamped the image using Basic Black ink on Poison Ivory cardstock, cut it in to 3 panels and then matted each panel with Basic Black cardstock.  I added black velvet ribbon across the top and down in the right corner and then added 2 Antique Brass snowflakes by K&Co.  The last step was to add Gold Blingz Shimmerz.  Here is a closer look at the Shimmerz ~

I wanted some shine on the image but not too much because of the subtle colors and antique brads so the Blingz adds JUST the right amount!

Jacksonbelle Tuesday ~ Sandy Winter Birds!?!?!?!?

Happy Tuesday!
For today's Jacksonbelle DT challenge, we were to make a card that SHINES!!!  You know, use glitter, bling, anything to make it SHINY!!!  I LOVE shiny!!!  This card actually isn't my NORMAL shiny but it is shiny!  The layout of it is based on this week's sketch challenge at PaperCraftsPlanet ~ Sketch Challenge Group.  The colors are based on today's color challenge at SCS ~ Black, Sahara Sand and Vanilla.  Here is my card ~

I could not get a really good picture of this!  The vanilla does not look vanilla but it REALLY is!!!  The base of my card is Sahara Sand with a mat of Basic Black.  The top portion, behind the bird, is Poison Ivory Shimmery cardstock and then THIS Prima transparency.  The bottom portion where the Memory Box sentiment was stamped using Basic Black ink is Sahara Sand cardstock.  I cut the bottom of this using a Martha Stewart border punch.  I then added square pewter brads from THIS We R Memory Keepers Collection.  I added a strip of  black scalloped May Arts ribbon to cover the seams!

The beautiful bird image from Inkadinkado's Winter Birds Collection, was stamped 2 times ~ once on Sahara Sand and then again on Poison Ivory.  I cut the Poison Ivory piece in to a square AS THE SKETCH SAID (I ALWAYS follow directions!!! LOL!!!) and then cut the bird using one of my circle Nesties.  I mounted the Sahara bird on top of the Poison one using dimensionals!!! LOL!!!  I "colored the snowflakes, just on the Sahara bird using  Candle Light Shimmerz.  Here is a close-up of the image~

I then added Black Diamond Stickles to the centers of the snowflakes just on the Sahara Sand piece.  I then matted the Poison Ivory square on Basic Black and added the pewter photo corner (from the same We R Memory Keepers Collection as the square brads) using glue dots.

OUR CREATIVE CORNER ~ A Snowman or a Snowflake!!!!!

Good Morning!
I hope you all had a really Happy Thanksgiving!  Ours was AWESOME!  I didn't get as much time to stamp as I wanted but I was able to squeak this card out!  Today's challenge is a HARD one!!!  We are to make a card using SNOWMEN OR SNOWFLAKES ~ gasp......  LOL!!!  Because I am an OVER ACHIEVER, I decided to use both!!!  I know, I really stretched my creative~ness (is that a word??? The base of my card is Baja Breeze with a mat of Whisper White which I punched the bottom using my SU! scalloped punch.  Under the scallops I added a strip of my silver K&Co. glitter paper.  At the top, on top of the Whisper White base, I added a Basic Black which I ran through my Cuttlebug using my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I then added a small strip of the silver glitter paper and then a piece of Ski Slope Baja Breeze snowflake paper.  I then added black satin ribbon and then a little knot of May Arts white polka dot ribbon.  The sentiment is from THIS Verve set and was stamped using Basic Black ink.

The darling snowman & reindeer image is from Whipper Snapper.  I got it from Addicted to Rubber stamps.  I stamped the image on Whisper White using Basic Black ink.  I colored using my Prismacolor Pencils and a blender pen & Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette and Certainly Celery ink pads.  I added Silver Stickles to the bells on the reindeer's bells, snowy's buckle on his hat, the top of the ornament and snowy's buttons.  I used Pink Poinsettia Blingz on the candy cane, snowy's scarf, the ornament and both snowy and reindeer's cheeks.    I used Angel Wings Shimmerz (Lindsey sold out of this AGAIN but you can email her and she will get it for you!!!) on snowy's vest, gloves, snowy's entire body, ornament and hat band.  It looks SO glittery and pretty IRL!!!  I used my Quickie glue pen and added white flock to the reindeer's tail and added clear Martha Stewart glitter to the snow on the ground.  I matted this image on Basic Black and then mounted it on the front using dimensionals.

Jacksonbelle Tuesday Challenge ~ Favorite Jbelle Product!

Hellllloooooo there!!!!
Today's Jacksonbelle DT challenge is to use our FAVORITE Jacksonbelle product!  What a great challenge!  Of course it was difficult since I LOVE all of Lindsey's products, I was able to make a card based on today's color challenge at SCS AND use 3 of my favorite Jbelle products!

The base of my card is Going Gray and is 5" square.  The next mat is Really Rust and then Poison Ivory Shimmery card stock.  I sponged all edges using Going Gray ink.  I pierced the top and bottom using my SU! mat pack.  The strip down the middle is first Really Rust and then a strip from Basic Grey's Archaic Collection (Favorite #1)!!!  I cut along the decorative paper to have a decorative bottom edge and then added a strip of Going Gray card stock.  The ribbon is satin Rust ribbon from May Arts (Favorite #2)!!!

For the focal piece ~ I stamped the Memory Box Bare Tree on the Poison Ivory card stock using Going Gray ink.  I stamped off a couple times to lighten the image.  The 2 darker images, I added
Blingz Spiced Cider Shimmerz (Favorite #3), on top of the image.   It is SO beautiful, I LOVE it!!!  Here is a closer look at the BLINGZ!!!!

Isn't it beautiful!?!?!?  Anyway, I then added a couple deer (Martha Stewart deer punch) that I punched from Going Gray card stock, sponged the edges with the same ink and then mounted 1 using dimensionals and the other directly on the image piece.  I then matted this piece with Going Gray card stock and mounted the image on the front using dimensionals.
