Hello!
Hope you had a great weekend! I have a couple things to show you today that I made with my Waltzingmouse Stamps. The first is a card based on this weeeks sketch challenge found HERE.
The base of this card is Early Espresso with a mat of Vintage Cream on the top and October Afternoon's Thrift Shop DP on the bottom portion of the card. I punched the top using my Martha Stewart daisy border punch. The strip under the image is also from the Thrift Shop Collection. I took about a 1/2" off the side of the front panel of Early Espresso and then added a piece of the DP which I punched using my SU! scallop border punch.
The image is cally My Basket of Eggs from MFT and was stamped on Select White CS using Cocoa Momento ink. I colored with Copics and paper pieced her dress. The flowers were punched using a tiny punch I have had for quite some time. I covered up the eggs with the flowers and added some Zva rhinestones to the centers of the flowers. I then cut the image out and mounted it on a piece of DP which I stamped using the largest outline stamp included in THIS Waltzingmouse stamp set. I then cut it out using my Labels 4 Nesties, added my little girl on dimensionals and adhered the entire piece on the card again using dimensionals. Here is a closer look at the image ~
I have a little gift box to show you now. I made this a couple weeks ago and had a heck of a time finding pink candy to put in it!
The top picture is of the little box closed. I used True Black, Select White CS and Bo Bunny pink CS. The bottom is just Select White CS cut using the largest die from Labels 4 Nesties and then I glued (Elmer's) a strip of True Black CS that I shaped in to an oval. The lid is basically the same as the bottom except it is a much small strip of True Black CS and about a 1/4" shorter than the base so it will fit inside snugly. I added the white organdy ribbon and the little metal flowers on each side.
Here is a picture of the top ~
This set is so cool! So different, I love it! I stamped the Rescue Remedies image on the Bo Bunny CS using Black Memento ink and then cut it out using another Labels 4 die. Of course I had to add some little pink Zva rhinestones!
Here is a picture with the lid off ~
Thanks so much for stopping by and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Have a great day!
