Happy Monday!
I have a ton of posts for you this week so I might as well get started! Beginning Wednesday, the Verve sneak peeks will start so stay tuned for that. Don't forget that Julee has a BUNCH of awesome sketches for you to play with for WCMD as well as Verve's upcoming release! My card today used THIS sketch. You can see all the sketches, prize details and rules HERE on the Verve blog. My card also is for SCS's WCMD Celebration challenge of making a holiday card using pink. The details for this challenge as well as card donations to the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texax to benefit patients being treated for breast cancer and their family, can be found HERE.
The base of this card is Blushing Bride with a mat of Early Espresso. The top Select White piece was embossed using my Cuttlebug polka dots folder and punched on the bottom using my Fiskars Apron border punch. The snowflakes, from Verve's Frosty Flakes set, WHICH I might add is 40% off this month, were stamped on Kraft CS using Snow White ink. I then added some pink Basic Grey rhinestones, matted with Select White and then Blushing Bride. The ribbon is some old pink May Arts ribbon and the brown string is also from May Arts. The sentiment is from Verve's Christmas in the Air set and was stamped on Select White using Early Espresso ink. I stamped the "snow drift", which is also in the set, using Crumb Cake ink and then added the smallest snowflake from Frosty Flakes and Blushing Bride ink. The final step was to add the snowflake medallion which I made by stamping the largest Frosty Flakes snowflake on clear polyshrink, using Timber Brown Stazon, punched it out using my 1 3/4" circle punch, heated it and then tied it on my card!
Here is a closer look at the image ~
I don't know why I cannot get good pictures of white. Hmmm...I'll have to work on this!! LOL!! Anyway, come back by tomorrow as I will have another card for you!
Have a great day!

This is the prettiest one on all the blogs I have looked at today. Simple and elegant.
Thanks.
